It has been nothing but issues since day 1, and rather than admit the system is defective and replace it, we have been getting the runaround. We bought our house in 2006 and replaced the original system with a tankless water system from Crystal Clear. On a visit to Home Depot, we were approached by a representative from Coastal Water Energy and Air and were offered a free water test. During the water test we were convinced our water could be better and the sales pitch was pretty solid. After the installation we spent several months trying to get our water clear, which was never a problem with the old equipment. A hydrogen drip was installed. Then another drip for Res-up. Then there is an additional filter between the well and water system installed. All these additions are costly add-ons and if they worked, I wouldn't be writing this review. Every few months we have black water running from our faucets, toilets and showers. The toilet in the master bathroom got so stained that I replaced it on 5/21/25. Picture of *new toilet included stained once again after only 5 months. We also replaced the hot water heater because the water had destroyed the Anode Rod. I have been in contact with the owner Joel many times, most recently 9/2/25 when we had black water again. I sent him video (included) of the dirty water in both the sinks and the toilet, and he responded "let me review your records today. We need to do a critical analysis of why you're having the issue." I never heard from him again and the dirty water was clear again the next day. The following week on September 14th, I had dirty water again (video included) but still nothing from the company or Joel. I have videos from the past 2 years, date and time stamped, and it is obvious the problem is the system. It uses Res-up, it uses the peroxide, I've changed the filter. Last time I bought salt was April 2025 and it is still full today, 10/5/25. I even paid $777 for the company to service the equipment on 4/30/25 because we were getting dirty water. I have documentation from 10/10/23 that outlines all the issues that we had with the installation. I specifically noted I wanted the system replaced under the "lifetime warranty" that was offered. I have given Coastal Water Energy and Air so many opportunities to make this right but keep getting the "we need to do a critical analysis" which has resulted in absolutely nothing. Our pipes are now disgusting, our bathroom fixtures are a constant struggle to keep clean which is a loosing battle. We are washing our clothes in dirty water and how is that impacting our washing machine. I am so frustrated that I want them to come and take their equipment and I will contract a different company to install a new one. This was also something I mentioned back in October 2023. The company does have good ratings, so the majority of their customers are satisfied, but they need to recognize when their equipment is faulty and do what is right by the customer. I will be taking this issue up with Home Depot and the Better Business Bureau.

Toilet Installation Issue United Plumbing incorrectly seated a toilet in my home when it was built, which led to water damage in my entryway tile, bathroom drywall, and base molding. While they did send a remediation company to dry everything out, they charged me to fix and properly reseat the toilet--even though their mistake caused the damage in the first place. They never offered to cover the repairs or take responsibility for the damage they caused. 2. Booster Pump Installation Failure I also hired them to install a booster pump. It took two days and two different plumbers because the first installation was done incorrectly. The second plumber used plumber's putty on the fittings--something the manufacturer specifically prohibits. Because of this, the pump couldn't be removed properly. When the pump later began leaking, the fittings snapped off the inlet and outlet due to being overtightened and sealed with putty. This poor installation destroyed a $1,000 pump. I ended up purchasing a new pump and installing it myself after fixing all the plumbing connections that United Plumbing botched. When I reached out to the owner, he never returned my calls or texts. The only response I received was from a service manager saying she could "try" to get a warranty replacement--despite the fact that the manufacturer clearly states that using plumber's putty voids the warranty. At no point did United Plumbing offer to replace the pump they damaged or refund any of the installation costs. Overall: United Plumbing's workmanship has caused me significant unnecessary expense, and their lack of accountability made the situation even worse. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them. If you value proper installation, honesty, and customer service, look elsewhere.

I called and asked them to come repair as we were under warranty (and reminded them of such) they asked me to put down a credit card to make the appointment. I let them in remotely since we hadn't moved in yet. They augered the line (over $400 charge) and fixed the other toilet. TOTAL was $568! I called, complained and begged them to reconsider the charges as everyone (even me) knows a new toilet that doesn't fill does not need to have the line augered. So I watched a video and fixed it in 5 minutes (adjusted the fill valve). I never authorized the work. THEY ARE CROOKS.

Do not hire AIM Plumbing. I cannot stress this enough. They will quote you a cheap price to get in…read morethe door, then try to hit you with thousands of dollars in repairs they can't even prove you need. And when you push back and ask for evidence? They go silent. Here's what happened to me. I had a clogged pipe in my home. Another plumbing company had already inspected it, provided video evidence, and recommended a hydro jet. AIM Plumbing quoted a cheaper estimate, so I gave them the job. The hydro jet itself went fine. What happened next is the problem. After the job, they told me my pipe had collapsed and quoted me $3,400 to repair it. I asked for pictures or video to support this. They sent me the attached photo, which as you can see, shows absolutely nothing. A blurry image that tells you zero about the condition of the pipe or the scope of work needed. I followed up and asked for a video. Their response was that sending someone out with a camera would be a separate job with additional charges. In that same email, they admitted they never recorded anything when they ran the jetter down the line. So let me get this straight. You want me to pay for someone to come out again because you didn't do your job properly the first time? You want me to trust a $3,400 repair based on a photo that proves nothing? When I pressed them further, they refused to engage entirely. It's now been over a week since the hydro jet, and my pipes are working perfectly fine. Do yourself a favor and find a plumber who documents their work, stands behind their claims, and doesn't try to upsell you on repairs you don't need. One last thing.
