This will be my sixth year shopping for unique and rare home furnishings, decor, and gifts at Tweeds. No clue what I have spent...some might say too much...while others will agree with me, that it is money well spent on both quality and customer service (which is now severely lacking in most industries). In 2024 I had to replace my own 25+ year old leather chair. While every sitting piece of furniture in my Living Room was leather, I wanted something with a durable material for a change. I found the chair and ottoman I really liked at Tweeds. Then I spent about two days fretting over the perfect material. I ordered the custom chair and ottoman through Tweeds. When the set arrived, it was perfect...even more so when I got it set up in the Living Room. A year and a half later, one of the upholstery buttons came up...I found it just sitting on top of the ottoman. Several months later...one more upholstery button detached. Several days later I thought, I know there's no kind of warranty left, but I want this ottoman to look like it is supposed to. I wrote an email to Tweeds saying just this...along with a picture, and simply asked if they had a recommendation for who I could use to fix the upholstery buttons. I received almost an immediate response and was told that this is very unusual...and that when they are ready, they will contact me to pick up the ottoman, and get it repaired. I was impressed at that moment. I am even more impressed with the fact that they called me several days later (after I had nearly forgotten about their response). They came an hour later and picked up the ottoman. Today I have the ottoman and chair together again. Took less than a week and it looks like it did the day I brought the set home. Today customer service is lacking...everywhere. While there are retail organizations which may pride themselves with excellent customer service...I dare to say that many at all match Tweeds' true customer service. Furs, wood, iron, bone, horns, It's all perfectly melted into one glorious display of natural respect. There are many furniture pieces, and they are beautiful, the majority are very comfortable, and each one is a custom item, so nobody else would have the same piece exactly as you. In my opinion, the native pieces spoke the most to me, it was extremely passionate and respectful. This is the perfect place to come in and view different layouts, textures, and see what feels right to you in your home. I was absolutely caught off guard by the skins,as they were immense, painted with so much love and care to ensure none of the animal was wasted. Fine furnishings does indicate that the prices is higher than your local one stop shop all, but the prices you're paying is for a quality product that comes with "bragability."(I made that word up and I'm going to cash in on it). Even if you're not in the market to renovate your home, this is a must see. You are able to touch, try out any product and there are several affordable items. The staff was very friendly, other than asking if we needed any assistance, they just let us explore and enjoy. It honestly is like a free museum.

Wonder Wife and I were in the market for some bedroom furniture and spent a little time wandering through the different displays. As is the case with any furniture store, there were pieces we really liked and some we thought were pretty ugly. The service we received was very good and although we purchased some clearance items out of a set, they were very willing to allow us to pick and choose what we wanted and gave us very good prices. We also saw a wonderful piece of wall art which we also asked about and they knocked about 25% off of it since we were buying other stuff. The prices are expensive if you're used to buying at American Furniture Warehouse, and they're astronomical if you're used to buying IKEA particle board stuff. But, you get what you pay for. Now that most of the kids are gone, we want to start getting good stuff, and that's what we got. Delivery was $79 and worth every nickel. They arranged the furniture the way we asked, mounted mirrors, assembled the bed frame, etc. And the guys were super nice.

They shared contact details and we thankfully met Ethos Furniture. We've ordered custom furniture items in the past and the quality & craftsmanship from Ethos is top notch. Our walnut table is rock solid and sits on a sturdy iron base. We have young children and don't even worry about them damaging the table thanks to Ethos' durable construction. The artisan, Ross, is one of the friendliest people I've ever met. He put the table together, walked us through proper care, and stopped by a couple of weeks later to drop off a special wood cleaning product free of charge. He takes great pride in his work and it shows. I ended up ordering a custom office desktop to match the walnut dining table, and Ross will definitely be our first stop for any future custom wood furniture needs!
