I have never been, but my doctor comes here, so if you read my review on Sun Pointe Health the…read morepatients are probably getting the same kind of treatment. Rushed appointments, doctor out of the office, I can't answer for the office staff making mistakes or lying about where the doctor is when his car is clearly sitting in the parking lot. I don't know what they tell them when they have an emergency because he goes to so many places. I don't know how you effectively help someone if you don't have the availability to be there for them even if you are the only geriatric doctor in the area. Trust is hard to come by these days. They should really think about what they say before they say it. I wonder if he has a different persona in different places. I really wonder if each patient really gets what they need due to patient overload and the number of places the doctor attends. The doctor's name is Dr. DOMBROWSKI. STAY AWAY FROM HIM. HE IS UNCARING AND INEFFICIENT. He doesn't read your history completely and prescribes meds that interfere with what you are taking now. You get an allergic reaction and doesn't call you back. His nurses call and say wait until your next appointment which is 12 days away. He bills you for 40 minute appointments and you only had 20. For therapy you didn't receive. It truly is a nightmare. STAY AWAY PLEASE.

I am back home in Clearfield after living and working in major metropolitan markets for 40 years…read more I've complained about a paucity of quality in many things around here, including healthcare. I've refer to our area as a medical wasteland, and those who've experienced it know exactly what I mean. No more! Today, I had my initial visit with Dr. Diane Hoover at Patient-Centered Health, located on Fleagle Road. I'm a wordsmith, but words fail me in searching for all the right ones to express my deep satisfaction and appreciation of this practice. The office is IMMACULATE. Spotlessly clean. It's bright, cheerful, and great care was taken to make the entranceway, steps, and ramp 100% ADA compliant - and they've even gone beyond that to ensure secure walkways and handrails. I don't need them, but MANY in our area would, and they are right there. I scheduled my appointment ONLINE. Wait, what? Yes, ONLINE. That's basically unheard of around here, as you're put on hold for excessively long periods of time, then transferred back and forth from person to person until they finally connect you with someone who might only tell you there's no one available to even see you. Scheduled ONLINE and grabbed an opening in ONE DAY. Because I entered ALL of my medical information online beforehand, there was NO sitting in the waiting room filling out redundant paperwork that would need to be scanned in or entered manually later. It is what modern-day offices DO, and the process is seamless and easy. Dr. Hoover is an absolute JOY. Not only a doctor, but a professor who teaches and lectures on the university level. She is pleasant and funny with a GREAT sense of humor. She KNOWS this area and she knows the PEOPLE of this, our, area. She's worked on many levels of healthcare in Clearfield so she knows what it's like out there - and she offers NONE of that! Dr. Hoover is a smart, highly educated, extremely compassionate healthcare provider who knows the value of TIME - time spent making sure every aspect of medical history is captured ON THE COMPUTER - IMAGINE THAT! - and not jotted down on a paper pad. Ordering tests was instantaneous, and I left with all the paperwork I needed to get them done. Insurance was covered beforehand (remember, there's an ONLINE REGISTRATION that is quick and easy to do BEFORE you get to the office). The visit was seamless, effortless, and left me with actual HOPE that indeed, there IS now a high-quality, modern, caring, competent healthcare provider in our area with the knowledge and ability to treat patients with the utmost care, compassion, and EXPERTISE that is so desperately needed in this area. I have run out of superlatives to use to describe my first experience with Dr. Hoover, but I would encourage EVERYONE who's getting rushed in/rushed out, shuffled around, gotten the wrong prescription, wrong dosage, and not being listened to to schedule a visit with Dr. Diane Hoover at Patient-Centered Health in Clearfield. I am so, so SO glad I did. I dropped my previous primary care provider and switched to the practice TODAY. This level of care is exactly what Clearfield needs.

I WAS IN PENN HIGHLANDS DUBOIS, PENNSYLVANIA. I was in a…read morehorrific auto accident. I never saw an orthopedic doctor. I had broken ribs in the front and back, 2 fractured vertebrae in my neck, 2 broken legs, a broken ankle, brain bleed, and a lacerated spleen. I was moved to "rehab" on my 3rd day in the hospital -- far too soon. Why? Because my paperwork was LOST!!! I was expected to "hop" on one leg in order to use a walker -- with 2 broken legs and 11 broken ribs! The follow up xray of my ribs showed 3 displaced rib fractures that still weren't healed, yet the PA (NOT A DOCTOR) that I saw didn't feel that a follow up xray to ensure healing was necessary. I finally got an MRI of my one leg and broken ankle that continue to give me pain almost 4 months later. I've waited over a month for a brace for my knee that should have had surgery to stop the bone marrow from bleeding out into the knee joint/space (which is what is causing this pain) I finally received it, and it looks like it was used as a demo. It was put in a bag that was trashed with no booklet, directions, or resource phone number. When I called the office to let them know (as I presume this company is hired by them), the person that answered the phone was very nonchalant. I still haven't received a phone call regarding the MRI of my ankle which showed another broken bone that hasn't healed. I expected care and concern, but that is not at all what I got. From my care in the hospital to my care afterwards, my veterinarian would have treated me better. I would not recommend PENN HIGHLAND DUBOIS as a TRAUMA hospital to anyone.

I was told that Dr Nartadas would be out for most of the month of May, would I mind seeing his PA instead. I agreed and had an appointment in early May for my knee. This would mean waiting nearly 2 months to get in. The day finally arrived, a great sunny day after weeks of dreary cold weather and I received a call that Stell had called in sick. Rescheduled for May 31, day after Memorial Day. Received a call on Friday before the holiday weekend, she cancelled again. Apparently had more important plans for the day after the holiday. Couldn't get in till July 21. I told them to stuff it. If that is how she cares for patients I want nothing to do with her. Called Mt Nittany Health and will be seeing a PA there June 20. Wish I had called them initially. I probably would have already had surgery by now instead of waiting 3 months while Stell goes out having a good time and saying the hell with patients
