Tons of guns. Tons and tons and tons.
So, they occasionally have some awesome deals. But, generally they're packing top-notch and top price firearms. They deal mostly in antique firearms and pride themselves on their array of Lugers, but I'm just as equally impressed with the sheer number of Walthers they have as well: problem is, they all carry quite a high price.
The selection of battle rifles and antique double barrel shotguns is overwhelming. Any and all variations of Enfield, Arisaka, Schmidt-Ruben and Mauser can be had from them, some as ridiculously low and others at ridiculously high prices. K-31's run the gamete from $150 for a used model with lots of dings to an immaculate "sniper" model for $1300.
The staff is great and helped me out immensely. They took care of me and we talked back and forth for a few days before I finally made the plunge and purchased a $120 Mossberg 500A with a cracked stock.
I was told the gun was in worse condition than it was and would require a new stock: not true. The shotgun just needed a cleaning and the stock just needed to be tightened onto the receiver. They clearly did nothing to the shotgun once they received it. Upon stripping and cleaning the gun I found hardened grease, clumps of dirt, gun powder residue and dirt in the barrel and pine needles in the receiver, they didn't seem to do much of anything to the gun when they received it. I can't blame them, as their inventory makes it nae possible for them to clean and inspect every gun like a smaller store.
Would I do business with them again? Yes. They were great and took good care of me. Would I suggest them to others? Yes. But I'd honestly visit other stores for browsing and asking questions. This place is mostly about bulk business and antiques than idle chat and salesmanship. By purchasing a "fixer-upper" from them, I obtained a $400 gun for $120 and a few days worth of cleaning and oiling.
