Ok WHOA! This Farmers Mkt is fabulous! It's a covered, open air permanent structure with SOOOO…read moremuch! I was amazed at the veggies & fruit. It's pepper, Tomato & Peach season (August) and they were stunning. We sampled the peaches- fabulous! We sampled the Honey Crisp apple cider- wow! And enjoyed Orange -ade with fresh squeezed oranges- amazing. My only regret is not being able to purchase any fruits/veg! We are only visiting , leaving tomorrow a.m. so no means to take home & cook. Maybe next time. Definitely a must see/do!

This was a MUST STOP on our trip to Raleigh. Easy to find and plenty of parking…read more We went on a Tuesday afternoon so there were a good deal of booths not open. However, there was a ton of live plants and truckloads of fresh vegetables for sale. Couple that with gourmet cheeses and baked and canned goods and you have a situation you could spend a lot of money on. As a snack, we bought a jalapeño cheese roll which was very good. You could definitely do some wallet damage here. I'd like to see this place on a weekend. My one criticism are the produce prices. $3.99/lb for slicing tomatoes and $12 for a watermelon. Other produce is equally expensive. This is rather boujee pricing and it's obvious they aren't targeting the average consumer. I love supporting local farmers but prices like this make it difficult. Come and check it out for yourself. It really is a sight to see and you could spend a whole morning or afternoon here. But guard your wallet. It would be easy to get carried away here.

Today for the 1st time we went to the Raleigh Farmers Market and was absolutely shocked at their offerings. All the vendors are eager to serve and please so, we loaded up on fruits and vegetables. I'm so happy I'm back to my normal diet. From this day forward I will always support the local farmers and never again buy fruits and vegetables from the grocery store.

Visited recently late on a Sunday ( maybe an hour before they closed) Great location with plenty of parking. Besides fresh produce, it also has fresh fish, a seafood restaurant, and a few other specialty shops. Open 7 days a week, I would go all the time if I lived in the area. But like most farmer's markets, "most" prices are no cheaper than your local grocery store, but the selecatiosn here are great. Espeially now in the Fall with tiomns of pumpkins & gourds, Saw stands with huige selections of plants & shrubs for home gardens & landscaping. Bought some fresh NC corn & honey. One stand had a HUGE selection of almost every pepper I ever heard off. Cant wait to go back. ( no pets!)

This time I bought a jar of her avocado-lime but need to come back for her Chipotle! There was fresh seafood and meats, jams and other jarred foods, clothing and scarves, fresh produce, salsa and chips and MORE. I am so happy I discovered this gem and can't wait to come back for more salsa and to support some more local vendors in the future. Shop local! Pro tip: if you buy a jar of salsa (or 3), don't hesitate to get a bag of her fresh homemade tortilla chips, too. They're the perfect pair and honestly, chips from the grocery store aren't nearly as good.. I wish she sold them in bulk!

My husband and son wandered around the other side of North Hills since no one was there and I went to grab our Farmers Market items. Almost everyone had a mask on and it was a quick and safe way to continue to support local farms at this time. I walked away with great peaches, lettuce, tomatoes, flowers, cucumbers, zucchini, and a breakfast sandwich from their visiting food truck! The flowers that I scored from Blackdog Hops were beautiful AND lasted two weeks. A lot of times cut wildflowers don't hold up, but their flowers did. I also loved all the organic produce I bought from Nourishing Acre Farm, oh and of course Michael's English Muffins is a continued favorite. Can't wait to head back over soon!
