Where should I start?…read more I've been using Laparkan to ship my barrels to Jamaica for few years now. The service at the Mount Vernon office is horrible. So horrible that I don't understand why that woman behind the counter is allowed to work. Someone should pay her to stay home. Whenever you walk in the office, you feel as if you have stepped inside the demilitarized zone. You're not greeted and there is no acknowledgement of your presence. When she feels it time to talk to you, the customer, there is always an attitude in her tone. I have often wonder why I continue to do business with this company at all. I will say, however, that the Laparkan service in the Montegobay Jamaica office is by far the best. But sad to say, I refuse to use Laparkan shipping until they adjust or train the Mount Vernon Staff on how to provide proper customer service. I will not spend my money with any company that treats me with such disrespected. Not once, but at three times in one year by the same person.

Somehow, they shipped the pallets to Jamaica separately without my consent which resulted in me being charged twice at the port, twice by customs and twice by my broker. Then to add salt to my wounds, several of my items were missing, which were of course, the most expensive ones. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
