Without reservation, she's the best primary care doctor I've ever had, bar none. Every person on her staff has been kind, professional, and caring--every time! Even if I move an hour or two away, Dr. Scarborough will continue to be my doctor. She is a rare individual and doctor: more like a friend who cares about my welfare and as well as my health. She always schedules enough time during visits to actually talk with patients and then listens to them, then follows through to address any health issues that need her attention. We aren't shuffled through her office like a number to quickly move out of the way, but as a person who is there for her help and expertise. If I've had to call after hours for a pressing issue(which I've done a couple of times), either she or her NP Holly always calls me back quickly and takes care of what I need. I'm a grandmother, years older than she, but we're "on the same page," and I've never felt or seen any condescension from her or her staff (which is more common everywhere these days toward older people). I highly recommend her without reservation, and that includes the ladies who check in patients, the nurses, lab staff, and anyone else I've had the pleasure of interacting with there. He is open to discussing my mother's care with me (with mom's permission, of course). I contacted Dr. Ellis's office with a concern about my mom's care and Dr. Ellis himself returned my phone call. He described the care he was providing and why. He was very patient and allowed me as much time as I needed to understand his plan and how it would impact my mother's health. Indeed, my mother's health is improving under his watchful eye. Dr. Ellis is a great doctor. Don't doubt it for a minute.

Did not provide me an escort or wheel chair. I fell while exiting the hospital. They move me to another room w/o knowing. They sedated me. Then they must have sedated me again and moved me back to another room. Their medical records say things that did not happen.

Initial scheduling GREAT! Procedure successfully completed…read more Scheduling, for follow up visits a disaster. I live 5 m from the Macon office. Knowing that my eyes would be dilated, I requested to be scheduled in Macon. On the day of my follow up appointment I arrived in a storm to be told my appointment was in Warner Robins. Apparently there is a single person who schedules. After leaving two voicemail messages for her and being placed on hold for long periods of time and randomly transferred I drove to the Macon office. I explained once again that I need the appointment to be in Macon and why. She did give me an appointment but my 3 week follow up has now turned into five weeks. This should not be this difficult. I want to stress that my Doctor and all the techs are pleasant and so is most of the front office staff. A little customer service and attention to detail goes a long way! If there are typos pin my review that's because I CAN'T see clearly and won't be able to see the doctor for another week!

Dr. Nelson was great with treatment of my husband. The staff, not so great. Many phone calls,…read moreemails and faxes since March 23rd, to have a ONE page insurance claim form completed. It is now May 5th. My husband cannot collect his insurance without this form. Every time I call I am told that it will be done that day, and it's not. They tell me someone will call me back, and they don't. I understand that offices get busy but it has been well over a month now.
