There's a sign to use the side door, which you can get a taste of the interior decoration. I ordered almost immediately since there was no line, although there were many patrons already seated and some who had just ordered. While waiting, I sat down at an available table, and noticed that there is also a back patio where you can sit as well. Even though I ordered for takeout, the staff brought my latte over to me. They did forget to bring my carrot cake with it, so I did have to ask for it as I was leaving, but they were apologetic about it. The carrot cake was really good! I found the coconut flakes topping a bit overwhelming, but that could be just because I'm not a huge fan of coconut. There's free street parking: however depending on how busy it is, you may need to find a street to turn on to find it on the opposite side (which happened to me today).

It was a good mix of being not too sweet, a good flavour profile and not being too dry due to the jam like top. The pistachio one was a bit on the dry side, it was good but I would say that I would gravitate towards the berry one if I had to pick. The staff were really nice and they also had some hot drinks, I think they were close to closing as everything was turned off but I would like to try it in the future. Overall I would return, maybe I would try a cheesecake if I was eating in the store with a nice coffee.
