I've done 37 classes at Orange Theory now, so figured I'd write a quick review. A coworker actually…read moreintroduced me last year with their "first class free" deal at her home gym. I was experiencing some life stuff and in the midst of grief at the time, and the gym slowly became my therapy since then. I don't have the monthly membership. I preferred to do class packages as my work schedule varies. I know each studio has its own pricing and promos, but typically a 20 class pack runs around $375. Sometimes they'll throw in some extra classes if there's a special. The heart rate monitor runs around $100-$120, but you can easily buy used ones online for cheaper. I bought the latest one and love the new features. I typically do the 2G workouts, where the class is divided into two groups. One group starts on the treadmills, the other starts on the rower and weight floor, then they switch. You'll see your stats and everyone else's on the TV while you work out. I think this is a great motivator if you're driven by numbers. I like how you get a report emailed at the end about your workout/progress, too. Personally, I burn around 450-550 calories per class and feel great afterwards. The coaches are friendly and help to push you. I usually train with Rocky, Melissa, or Sydni. I'm not very good at weight exercises, so I always appreciate when the coaches fix my form or offer modifications, especially Melissa! The studio itself is kept clean by the friendly front desk employees, and sanitizer wipes are always accessible when switching equipment. The class times vary, starting as early as 5am to 6:45pm.

Amazing workouts and trainers! I've worked out at this location and I love Sydnis and Rocky's…read moreclasses! Love the music and it's always a great workout. Love OTF

The other issue is that I have notice that a member brings their kids here. One of the sons loiters on the cardio equipment and I have noticed members having to go somewhere else bc of the child. Unacceptable.

From the moment I walked in, it was clear that Protogym is built for serious athletes. The breadth of its equipment is astounding: from dumbbells reaching 200lb, Olympic barbells and lifting platforms, to specialized strongman and powerlifting gear like bands , glute-ham raises, and reverse hyper. The facility also delivers a wide range of cardio options--Airdyne bikes, Jacobs ladders, rowers, steppers, treadmills--and a fully equipped boxing area featuring 100lb and 200lb heavy bags along with a wrecking‑ball bag . The membership model is refreshingly straightforward--no inflated "Vegas" pricing here. Protogym offers secured access, no enrollment or cancellation fees, and flexible month‑to‑month plans. One group fitness class is included per month, with an option for unlimited classes available. Membership includes access to their proprietary training app, tools for nutrition consultations, and web‑based account management In my experience, the gym is never overly busy--a rarity in my extensive bodybuilding journey. Pros: * Exceptionally well-equipped for strength training, powerlifting, and functional workouts. * Great value with competitive monthly pricing and no hidden fees or long-term commitments. * Rarely crowded and pulsating with a community of serious, like-minded athletes. * Includes a fitness app and group class options in the membership. Cons (minor): * Location in Henderson may be a bit of a trek depending on where you are in Las Vegas. Would I recommend it? Without hesitation. Protogym succeeds in balancing elite-level equipment, affordability, and a dedicated, undiluted training environment. If you're serious about your training--and value both quality and community--it doesn't get much better.
