Respectfully, I have tried 4 different barbers at this shop because everyone deserves second chances. Sadly all 4 people I tried didn't know how to fade or cut hair properly. They used to have decent barbers but it seems like they are just letting anyone work here now. I would not recommend you get a haircut here. My son was looking for a low taper fringe, and he got an excellent cut at Sin City Cutz. The price is $25 for kids' haircuts (ages 12 and under) and $50 for men's haircuts. Conveniently located at the corner of Maryland Parkway and Silverado Ranch Blvd, right next to Dollar Tree, it's easy to find. My son had his cut with Joey, the head barber, and it took about 40 minutes. While waiting, I noticed that all the barbers were busy, and each one was taking their time to give their clients a quality haircut. You can conveniently book and pay in advance on their website. The session was good and all but my son and I got humiliated due to a viral malicious TikTok post. We were not informed that there was a video being recorded and that it would be posted to TikTok that has been taken out of portion. My son is only 5 years old and gets very anxious and scarred from barbers and clippers. We went here for the first time expecting a good and positive experience due to the positive reviews and its close to us. Little did we know that my son would get to experience nasty comments from the TikTok post that we never agreed upon nor knew about. The place and ambiance are well maintained and the barbers were as accommodating as I thought but little I knew this would happen to us. Yes, he was the kid in that TikTok post and he is a minor to be exploited like that in the adult world. It could have been a better review but this is what happened to us. This place is not in total fault (disclaimer) but the team who is working here should uphold the integrity, values, and mission of the owner and have a sense of responsibility to protect and serve the community with respect and care, especially the minors. Whatever was in that TikTok post that was just clips and it's not fair and not right for my son to be called names and be disrespected that way and have all those nasty comments transcribed at that comment box for him and me. Nice place, nice people but I was not happy with my hair cut. I specifically told my barber how I wanted my haircut and he didnt do it, he didn't do my side part properly or even attempt to, he didn't take some hair off the top, or even comb it but he did line me up and didn't ask him to and I still had to comb home and take some hair off my line up. So basically I paid for a bowl cut for 50 but that's just my own opinion and personal experience. read more

First off; Velle, you the goat for getting me right! Had to get a last min cut and I wasn't disappointed. His fades are arguably the best I've ever gotten and he spent plenty of time making sure I left right with tons of adjustments. Music definitely helped us pass the time since the aux was poppin. Only thing keeping this from a 5 was the fact that it was cash only. Already starting 2021 by making good choices and I'm glad I took a chance on SinCity Cutz. Dezel was my barber and took exceptionally good care of me. He made sure I was comfortable, didnt feel rushed, and was precise with my cut. I've been to shops where I felt rushed and/or they were too distracted by politics or the tv to where I felt "why the hell am I here?". Not the case here. The shop has a very modern and simple aesthetic. Wood floors. Nice decor. For the social media influencers, pretty cool spot to take some pics. Even looking at some of the other patrons and barbers, they're all really skilled here. The staff is welcoming and friendly, warm, and the shop is spotless. They even took the extra measure of providing masks (in case you forgot yours), hand sanitizer, and protective shields that provide extra safety between clients and chairs. Big plus in my book and shows they really value their clientele. I'll definitely be back and will be recommending them to anyone who needs a fresh cut. read more

I called here to ask if the cut toddlers hair & they said yes , they told me to come in at 2 & ask for Jess. So we got there waited like 15mins because she was finishing up somebody(we went as walk in) . When it was our turn I was nervous because my son is 1 1/2 years old & it was his first cut, but Jess was so nice & patient. She kept on telling him he's doing a good job & talked to him even though he's not a talker yet lol. Every time before she turned the trimming machine on, she let him feel the vibration & I guess that made him felt comfortable. He didn't cry at first but because he's a baby still he got tired of sitting & it was close to his nap time & he got a fussy & started to cry. Jess didn't get annoyed because of the crying. she gave him a little break & I picked him up & she continued to cut. I'm very satisfied with his cut . He looks extra cute now . Yelp page said they maintain COVID-19 restrictions and sign at the front says must wear masks but my barber didn't had his mask on throughout the entire haircut and asked me to take off mine for going behind the ears. I'm very happy with the haircut but now I'm feeling very paranoid. I guess I should have said something since all of the other barbers and clients had their masks on. Before the start of school I took a few homeless and underpriv kids here for cuts. First time at this location. Not disappointed. Its a traditional old school barber shop. They have a boom box pumpin and everyone was having a good time. You dont get this at Great Clips lol. Barbers are very meticulous at their craft and use the best equipment. First the owner is the most welcoming owner of any type of barber shop, salon, spa (you get the picture) that I have ever personally experienced. The shop is very clean, has a great aesthetic and feel. I love that you can watch WWE while waiting or getting your hair cut (obviously I love wrestling, so I was particularly happy it was on the day that we were there). But the one of the best parts of being there was that I, as a woman, got to experience a barber shop first hand and it was just like you see in the movies, minus the boy club atmosphere (that just could be that they didn't want to alienate me, but it felt authentic). I originally brought in my adult son and he had a good experience, but while I was waiting I talked to the owner and he talked me into (in a very non-trying-to-talk-you-into-something-type-way) bringing my younger son, who happens to be autistic, in for a haircut. It's always a big ordeal because he screams and cry's and I have to hold him or at the very least his head, because he won't stop moving. I started to just do it my self, because the places that I've brought him to (2 different establishments that only cut children's hair on multiple occasions and another barber shop) just wind up making him, the hair artist and myself stressed out. This is where I get to best thing about this place. When I Brought my younger son in I did not have high expectations, but I didn't realize we had a Glinda The Good Witch type situation on our hands. When my son sat down (I'm sorry I can't remember his name, but I do know it was the owner) and the barber started talking to him and working with his quirks my son got quiet and comfortable with him, for the most part he sat there calmly (now if you'd ever seen my son get a hair cut you'd know why I was thinking this barber has magical powers). He put him at ease, and me, while he gave him a really great hair cut. The other staff is really great as well. It really did feel like you were going there to hang out with friends and I am not an outgoing person, but he even pulled that out and we had great conversations. I am beyond grateful to how they treated my boys and me, but especially the way the situation with my 6 year old son was handled. Even when my son did have a couple stims and started to freak out a little when the clippers were pulled out, the barber calmed him right back down. It was great to watch. We will definitely be going back. I will get a picture next time. Really great experience overall and I want to say thank you to the owner and staff for being so welcoming to me and my boys. read more

This place is a joke. Book my haircut appointment a week in advance and for some reason, there were still complications. My appointment was set at 10am in the morning. I was waiting outside with 3 other clients for the barbershop to open. 40 minutes go by, and no one opens the door. If the barbershop is supposed to open at 10am, why showcase that and allow your barbers to book earlier and during that timeframe? Why advertise your services if they are not even available? lol. Bobby, who sits right in the front on the right said he could get my son in at 1:00 so we came back at 1:00, waited a 1/2 hour, finally asked someone where Bobby was, the guy told me he would text him. Was told he's not coming back. Bobbie waisted our time when he could have just said no opening and we could have gone somewhere else. If I wouldn't have asked someone, who knows how long we would have Waited for nothing. The other guy I asked was rude too. I don't normally review bad businesses, but this was by far the worst experience I've had. I took my nephew in to get a hair cut who had an appointment at 5. We arrived 5 minutes beforehand because we actually care about other people's time. Upon arrival I noticed the lady was still working on a hair cut, I brushed it off and hoped she'd get done in time. We waited outside in the scorching heat (EVEN THOUGH WE HAD AN APPOINTMENT) there were not enough seats outside to even wait comfortably. After about 15 or 20 minutes we left. I had enough of standing in the sun. Didn't receive an apology for how late she was, I would write down the barbers name, but after a rude encounter I didn't care enough to remember her name. All I know is she had dreads. I would never come back to this place or recommend anyone to do so either. read more
