I am dealing with severe pain from a tooth infection, and my prescription was sent by a physician who also practices pain management. Instead of simply addressing whether the prescription could be filled, I received a phone call with what I felt were excessive and unreasonable questions about my prescriptions and medical treatment. Unfortunately, this isn't my first experience like this with Walgreens. I previously had a similar problem at the Walgreens on Market Street in Elmwood Park, NJ. It felt as though every possible obstacle was being created to avoid filling a legitimate prescription rather than trying to help a patient who was in significant pain. The entire experience left me extremely uncomfortable and frustrated with how these pharmacies handle certain medications. TO TOP THIS OFF, THEY DID NOT FILL MY MEDICATION AT ALL and considering going to the ER because of the severe pain over my infection. I also have serious concerns about why patients are being put through this process and believe Walgreens management should review these practices closely. I am not accusing any particular employee of wrongdoing without evidence, but the experience was concerning enough that I believe the handling and accountability surrounding these medications deserves scrutiny. Based on my experiences, I would strongly recommend considering another pharmacy.

If your looking for snacks they have plenty of that.....emergency milk and even ice cream. Cases of water are for sale. Batteries, paper plates, detergent, etc. Rite Aid comes in handy in a pinch. It's a clean store with good employees as well. I'm hoping they don't close. Rite Aid seems to be disappearing and it would be a shame if this one closed.

My meds are ready when I call ahead of time or use the app, and if I don't, they usually have them done in matter of minutes. I drive a few miles and past a dozen pharmacies because they have earned my loyalty. There is always a parking spot along the side of the building but getting in and out can be a bit tricky. Nobody shouldn't go to the big chain pharmacies when this gem is within reach.
