Last…read morenight I filled up the tank of my new car with mid-grade even though the $2.57 price was a little steep; the low grade was $2.23 per the sign. So I filled it up for $37something. I went inside because I desperately needed to use the restroom after driving for hours, but instead, I was greeted by a woman blocking and securing off the area with all the loose cardboard she could muster ----saying, "You can't come in here cause I just mopped it!" Rather than try to explain that she could go over it with a dry mop (it wasn't that wet, sheesh), I decided to leave. Having spent 7 years in restaurants and 3 in fast food during high school, I never ever kept a customer from the restroom--maybe a, "Be careful" or "Watch your step," but I always let them use it. Consequently, I drove down to McDonalds and used their remarkably clean restroom and didn't even buy anything (the lines for food were huge!!). As for this Shell, gas gets 5 stars, price gets 2 stars, and customer service gets a lonely star. I'm only coming back as a last resort or with written notification of a policy change regarding restroom use.

Today I went and bought some chips and a Gatorade as well as filling up. They have a solid selection of snacks, drinks, coffee and various alcoholic drinks. The gas is reasonable priced and I believe king soopers points work there. I was tanked up, snacked up and on the rood in ten minutes or so. Knowing I was on camera I immediately took the nozzle out of my car and set it on the ground knowing I can prove what I'm alleging. I immediately warned my neighbors about this and found out this has been a problem! I will be filing a Complaint against the station and it's owners with the proper regulatory authority and be updating this with a report number. P.S. I confronted the person working today and told him that I needed to speak with the manager who had the audacity to call me a liar, I promptly called my bank to take a fraud report.
