I searched for some cheap gas in Silver Lake area and found this gas station. The facility was pretty old but 7 out of 8 pump were working. I paid by cash because I didn't have Sinclair card (that's the only way to get the cheapest rate). The cashier didn't seem to speak English as his default language but by hand communication I was able to get a receipt. Horrible and I see why! I've lived in the area for over a year now and the service was mostly enjoyable and then I start noticing the employees that provided the great service were disappearing and good for them because now you know management is lacking in good work ethic and responsibility as now it is a "security" guard in there that has a bad attitude and the young cashier he is often gossiping with has started to match his behaviors and one day I had to wait as they gossiped about other guards and watched videos of these guards being on their phones but yet this same rude guard is always on his and at-least the other guards are ALWAYS courteous and speak but this one is too busy maintaining a flawed attitude and overall I stopped going to this location and while I was going here at-least 1x a day I try to avoid it; the other day I stopped for coffee and said to myself let me talk to the person in charge and I did and let him know and told him I now repeatedly receive bad service it makes me be rude and I try to not reciprocate a bad attitude towards rude people but it has become difficult and this manager in more ways then one shrugged his shoulders and was like oh well so what and I said times are getting harder and too dang hard to spend my "crumbs" here. read more

A small snack shop , they just remodeled brand new , that's why there bigger profit is gas , but i see that there not so buzzy , could be the location there in . Rip off alert. They said I pumped 15.75 gallons when I have never pumped that much ever. My tank wasn't empty, they have "tricky" meter. I complained and the attendant told me to call the manager, but wouldn't give me the phone number. I called corporate and they claimed it might be a "clogged filter" but offered no help. read more

#BUYINGGASWHILEBLACK JHC I recently cut my long locs off and have been sporting a natural and have experienced an incredible amount of Racial Microaggressions (or maybe just racist/bigoted assumptions) than ever. Yet another gas station when presenting my credit card to purchase gas asked for my ID on a signed card. Why does this bother me so much you ask? First, it's against my credit card companies TOS for ANYONE to ask for supplemental ID when the back of the card is signed. Secondly, I've visited this location multiple times with no one asking. When I declined, the manager declined to sell me gas. Again in my credit card company's TOS, they strictly forbid this. Oh okay Aziz, it's all good, just reported you to your company's headquarters, all four credit companies, etc. May not seem like much but trust that I've been able to get the cc companies to have a word with the business to change the practice ESPECIALLY in the case of "racism". Remember people of color can be just as judgmental and racist again other people of color. Anyways gave them 2 stars because I used to always go here for inexpensive gas but screw it, not going to give my business to a company that doesn't value me. I visited this gas station a few days back. One of the pumps seemed to be having issues with the card reader so I moved to another one. Later that day, I began noticing fraudulent charges on my card. When I checked Yelp, I noticed that someone else had a similar complaint - meaning fraudulent charges - at the same station. Filing a police report now. The always check id for your credit cards as they should to protect your identity because you don't want to be a Victim of identity theft . All stations check id, it policy and they always should .
