This tea shop was recommended by Kaspar, a Barista at Black Coffee and Vinyl. Was he spot on. This was our top experience in Copenhagen. Nestled down an alley off a cute little shopping street lies a tea oasis. We were warmly welcomed by the owner's daughter and her team. They were young professionals who guided us through an amazing tea journey. You don't come here for a quick cup but instead, savor the experience, mindfully. We allowed our server to guide our experience. She asked what I like (Genmaicha) and suggested a seasonal Sencha. We smelled the sample bottles and were amazed at the fragrances, so individual and unique. We had two infusions of tea and at the end, our server prepared the remaining leaves with a little soy and toasted rice. We ate with delicate chop sticks. The leaves were lovely. It was a magical experience that got better, moment by moment. By the time we left, the shop was full of Danish people enjoying their lunch break. It was heaven. read more
