I truly love Tess. She is talented, friendly, and consistently gives great haircuts. The only reason I kept coming back was because of her skills. However, the scheduling and time management at this salon have become incredibly frustrating.
I've had appointments for both my son and my spouse, and almost every single time we arrive on time, we're left waiting anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes before the haircut even starts. This isn't an occasional delay--it's happened well over 10 times. I kept telling myself it would get better, but unfortunately it never has.
At some point, you have to ask: what's the purpose of making an appointment if the salon can't honor the scheduled time? Customers plan their day around these appointments. Many of us have work, children, errands, or other commitments afterward. It's disrespectful to repeatedly make people wait without regard for their time.
I understand that unexpected things can happen from time to time, and I'd be much more understanding if this were a rare occurrence. But when it's become the norm instead of the exception, it's clear there's a scheduling or organizational issue that needs to be addressed.
This review isn't meant to attack Tess because I genuinely think she's an excellent stylist. It's directed at the salon's appointment management. Great customer service isn't just about giving a good haircut--it's also about respecting your customers' time.
After more than 10 appointments with the same issue, I've finally reached my limit. It's disappointing because I really wanted to continue supporting Tess, but I can't keep making appointments only to sit and wait 20 to 45 minutes every visit.
I sincerely hope the salon improves its scheduling because the talent is there, but the organization is not. Unfortunately, until that changes, I won't be returning.
