So we had to replace that. The remote control to the garage doors didn't work and found out from the owner that he hadn't used the remote control for 14 years (because he didn't want to pay for a new garage door), so he tried to reinforce the door with extra wood which clearly didn't work. We also should have asked for a credit from the buyer for the heating and air conditioner since it was 23 years old, and of course it broke down after our 1 year warranty, and had to pay $18,000 for a new one. The inspector, I remember, was friendly and nice, and did notice a sump pump that needed to be replaced, and that amount was subtracted from the purchase price. We just wish they would have noticed the other above concerns.
