To begin, they have plentiful parking which is a must for the area, so no need to hunt for any. They have an incredible tequila and bourbon selection... and my absolute favorite- their drink kits. Pretty basic, but if you want basic, rather shop here than a corporate joint or something even more end-timey. Other than it being women-owned, it's nothing special as a wine and liquor store. Giving it more stars because it's women-owned and I want to support that. The flooring is that cheap toxic gray plastic, which is just so unappealing and a sign of the owners not caring much. There aren't many organic or biodynamic or even local wines, and there are no liquors made from heritage and/or non-gmo grains which means there's glyphosate in all of them. Parking lot is handy. Hot tip: There's delicious high quality somewhat-local sulfite-free wine sold every Sunday at the Hollywood Farmers Market, and I order most of my liquor from Workhorse Rye (who make more than rye) because all of their fabulous goods are glyphosate-free and environmentally-friendly and farmer-friendly. read more

I ordered wine. When tracking I was notified the shipment was damaged in Hammond, IN. I've notified Sipsy through 2 emails and called and left a message. I've gotten no response about replacement. So today I had to call my credit card company and DISPUTE the charge. I won't deal with them again. read more

What a great new spot! Sipsy's alcohol selection is definitely the most extensive in the area -- and they haven't even filled all of the shelves, yet. The owners are super nice and personable. The store is brand new, so obviously clean. I haven't used their delivery service since they're walking distance to me, but the prices are comparable to everywhere else. Best liquor store by far. Have gotten delivery from them multiple times and they always deliver promptly and have the nicest delivery drivers. Have a wide array of products (everything you need). This liquor store just opened up like 3 blocks from where I live. Me and my husband have been waiting for it to open and it finally did. While Sipsy only recently opened in East Hollywood, their staff, atmosphere, and incredible selection of libations leaves nothing to be desired. From the first day they opened, I knew they'd be a hit. The owners have made a point to become my friends and I think that's a mark of a truly phenomenal company. This brand new place is literally right around the corner from me and has some really good prices compared to other vendors in the Ktown area. Honestly, the manager, Hala, super cool and super friendly and even took our recommendation for our favorite brand of seltzer. Super clean store and well stocked.
