The grout repair in the shower made it like new. Workman was on-time, thorough and cleaned up nicely. A good value.

Good- the service itself was great, the shower looks amazing [[HIGHLIGHT]]Bad- customer support after the service. I lost the invoice they left so I will own that. However, I asked 3 times via phone call, text, and email asking for a mailing address to send the check and never got a response.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Had to pay via credit card which means an added 3% on the total cost. A representative came to look at staining on my marble shower floor. I was assured they could clean and seal it and I was given an estimate, which I agreed to. The technician showed up an hour and a half late, then spent several hours using various chemicals and scrubbing tools with no visible improvement at all. He left for another job and returned a few hours later to "finish" my job. After a couple more hours, there was still no improvement whatsoever. He then wanted to use an acidic cleaner, which even I know will etch marble, so I said no. To make things worse, while he was removing his equipment, he hit and damaged the trim around one of my doors, left dirty finger and footprints on my walls and tile floors, and sprayed some sort of product in my shower that left an overpowering odor that took several days to dissipate. Obviously Sir Grout lacks the ability and expertise to deal with marble flooring. The floor looks worse now than it did before. read more

They did not rush us through selecting our color seal color, explained what they would be doing, were careful moving our furniture around and did a beautiful job with our tile floors. Buyer Beware. After asking them to seal our counters, they ended up damaging our kitchen counter instead and they were not able to fix. I'm not an expert but I think it was because they put too much acetone on, covered it up, and left it overnight. This caused some kind of calcification in many areas of the counter so we basically paid for them to damage our counter. read more

I hired Sir Grout to clean and seal my tile. The builder did not seal it and it needed to be done. I also had all the bathroom caulking replaced. Not a fun job. I knew the tile was dirty and when Andrew and Daniel were done it looked brand new. They were on time, polite and respectful of my home. They worked hard and diligently. I am thrilled with the job they did. The floors and shower look new again. I would highly recommend the service. read more

It isn't often you find a company with such timely and professional service. From the first call for an estimate to fulfillment, everyone was professional and honest and the work was performed on time. With 1960 tile work in three bathrooms, it is hard to know what to expect for improvement. Andrew and Alex worked very well and three rooms now have new life. They explain everything before they begin, keep you involved with approvals as they work, and then do a walk through at the end for sign off. RUINED our marble, USED MY BABY'S SIPPY CUP, and TRIED TO DOUBLE CHARGE US. AVOID THIS HORRIBLE SERVICE. We wanted to re-finish our lightly used marble kitchen island and surrounding counters to prepare to list the house for sale. Huge mistake. The technician arrived and said he would spend about 2 hours. Over 5 hours later, and our marble was ruined. I walked in to find him USING MY BABY'S SIPPY CUP in his hands to pour water onto the dusty stone, which he'd taken out of my sink. I asked him to put paper down on my heart pine floor because he was splattering the dirty water everywhere. I walked back in to find only some floor covered and even more stains on the ground. The marble itself is RUINED: uneven--some areas dull looking and others more shiny. It holds water unevenly, too, when wiped down. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When he was finally finished, he was not able to tell me how much we owed him and said his phone was not charged to call his own office, and he didn't know the phone number anyway to use my own phone.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had to call his own office for him, asked for my balance, and write him a check while he stood there being useless. We paid in full--a remaining balance of several hundred dollars. Later, I received an email invoice asking me to click a link to pay another several hundred dollars. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I wrote the supervisors saying not only had we already paid in full, but the marble was ruined, they responded saying they would send the same technician back again because they like to give their employees a chance to learn.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] NO THANKS. My Old Village home is not a trade school for someone to continue making mistakes, and by that point the photoshoot was already the next day. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The supervisors said the check was probably left in the technician's pants and put in the laundry because that happens frequently to them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] GROSS. I responded that I was considering myself paid up and they asked how they could make it right -- I responded they should be refunding us at least a portion of the fee since the service was not rendered as agreed. I NEVER HEARD BACK. Then we saw via our bank that our check was apparently found and deposited. Good thing we didn't pay them double all over again when they sent an email invoice! THEY TRIED TO DOUBLE INVOICE US! We never heard from them again. I'm sure they'll pop back up to dispute this review and write a response under it. Don't be fooled. I truly regret the several hours of time, and several hundred dollars we spent having our white marble kitchen ruined right before we tried to sell the house. Terrible. read more

I contacted Sir Grout to redo my shower floor. Instead of selling me the very expensive service of regrouting, they came in and cleaned and sealed my grout. Fantastic job done by Andrew and Murphy. I would highly recommend this company for anyone with grout issues. They worked quickly and efficently and cleaned up when they were done. read more
