He suggested adding a small amount of added chestnut stain to the process, that would make them less orange and more rich in tone. The one day process was as described. We removed all furniture, rugs and stuff from the floors prior to his morning arrival. We were allowed back in (wearing socks) at 7pm that evening. There was no overpowering smell, just a citrus ish scent that dissipated just fine with a window cracked open for a day or so. We are very pleased with the results.
