    Pistacio latte, tiramisu latte

Went twice to this coffee shop. The interior is beautifully decorated and clean. Service is good. Drinks were very inconsistent. First time drinks were really good. Good coffee and flavor. The second time we went one week later, the drinks were very bland. The pastries are very good. Would recommend their different tiramisu. Very soft and full of flavor

    Turkish coffee

My wife got the cake and I ordered the Turkish coffee. The coffee came in a double cup, which I'm assuming was because it was extremely hot. Still, I really appreciate that Visalia has unique local spots like this. I'd much rather support places with character than the typical commercial chains every city seems to get. I'd choose this over Starbucks or Dutch Bros any day. A couple small suggestions: the coffee was a little too hot to drink at first, and next time I'd probably ask for extra sugar -- but that's just personal preference. Overall, the ambiance was very relaxing and made it a great place to sit down and unwind.

Saw this place on TikTok... so definitely had to check it out. The inside was warm, inviting, authentic. Gives you that warm feeling, that this cafe is about to be lit. We tried to order honeycomb, but what do you know? Didn't have anymore. What a bummer. Ordered a matcha, berry refresher and some other pastry. Hmm.... I think the refresher and matcha definitely missed the mark. The refresher tasted just like a can of watered down seltzer. Ewww nasty! I absolutely hate seltzer. The matcha tasted like half matcha and literally half milk, seemed like an ingredient or so was missing . Definitely was watered down too. We both took a few sips and threw them in the trash, they were awful. We wasted our money for sure. Maybe other drinks are better, let's hope so.

Beautiful new cafe that opened! They setup the place picture perfect. I saw a few people taking selfies. The staff is friendly and will take the time to explain. The drinks look pretty however they are on the sweeter side if that's what you like. I prefer my drinks less sweet. They also have a variety of desserts. I definitely recommend checking this place out. It's a perfect place to meet with friends or just grab and go.

Service was great. The young lady was very friendly and helpful with her recommendations. The decor is relaxing and the air conditioning was perfect. Our drinks delish. Only critique although early in the day most pastries were not available.

Coffee grounds on bottom of cup

My first time here and I was excited to try their signature pistachio latte. But much to my disappointment, they were out of pistachio cream. I settled on a cup of Yemen coffee, Mofawar. Mofawar is a traditional, centuries-old Yemeni coffee preparation. It features a medium-roast Arabica coffee that is slowly brewed with cardamom and a generous pour of milk or cream, resulting in a smooth, aromatic, and naturally sweet spiced beverage. Key Characteristics: Flavor Profile: Earthy, robust, and warm. The creamy texture pairs perfectly with the fragrant kick of cardamom and sometimes a touch of saffron. Preparation: Unlike regular drip coffee, it is typically simmered in an ibrik or cezve, over hot sand, with milk and the coffee grounds mixed directly in, allowing it to foam before serving. Be aware, wait a few minutes before drinking, to allow the coffee grounds to settle to the bottom of the cup. This was served piping hot and had to wait a few minutes before I could drink it. The coffee was so delicious, the taste of cardamom really shined through. I would definitely order this again. They also have several baked goods available for purchase. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Coffee house was very clean and I loved the Middle Eastern vibe in their décor. Parking is a bit of a challenge, parking lot is shared with other businesses so it can be a challenge to find a parking spot.

"Mango Matcha" "biscoff coffee" " pistachio coffee "
    Melissa A.

The place looks nice we stop to try coffee and matcha but it was really bad I was going with great expectations and it was just sad the "matcha" tasted like water with milk it was really bad the color was not good. The biscoff coffee was really bad too but at least you can taste some coffee watered down. We also got the pistachio coffee it was horrible as well you could not taste any pistachio at all it had some chunks in the drink but that was all. They really need to improve their recipes and do better I will give it a second try with the food or pastries.

We ordered a pistachio cheesecake, a mocha latte , and a midnight berry refresher. Never have i ever tried such bitter drinks. BOTH of them. The Mocha latte was just straight up coffee (you couldnt even taste the chocolate it had around it) and the refresher didnt even have any flavor to it, it was like i was sipping on water. The only good thing was the cheesecake. Waste of money here.

    Beautiful Main Counter Space

Best Latte in Visalia I moved to Visalia from Orange County, where coffee is a big part of the lifestyle there. This place has the best latte I've had since moving here. Great service, fun and intentional design, and delicious espresso. Would highly recommend!

There was some bad reviews so at first I didn't know what to expect, but my iced mocha was good and this dessert was delicious. The decor is out of this world!

All the hype and no delivery. I was looking forward to trying out the place. The establishment is nice most definitely I just wish the coffee was nicer. First I think the staff ( well the ones i interacted with that day) needed to be more trained on their knowledge of the drinks they offer, and some customer service skills. I ordered the spanish latte. It literally came with a BLOCK of ice. Not lying I had to stop at their trash can just to chuck that ice. . Also that drink was terrible it tasted like pure milk and i'm a believer in taking back a drink to remake but the customer service was so buns i didn't even want to bother. My daughter got a mango drink with their special syrup or something like that. she was so mad she had to throw it away. Like i said it was a pretty place the ambiance was okay a little loud if you want to go in and study but looks like a great place to hang out . They did a great job on the decor. I tried it but I don't think i'll be back and they might make changes so check it out for yourself.

Over the summer, I've frequented scoops as the location and atmosphere are unique and fun. It is in a great spot, and has friendly staff behind the counter. Unfortunately, the ice cream itself is intensely unremarkable. Flavors at Scoops are either minimally flavored creamy milk or absolute hydrogen sugar bombs. There is no in between. I did enjoy one flavor, but I inquired the scooper if they made it in house but was disappointed to learn it was one of their imported flavors. Additionally, the dirty sodas are not so dirty. They are simply overpriced sodas. Moreover, the staff is helpful and prompt, but management fails to realize that a single scooper for a busy night sours the experience for all. Long lines and wait times are easy to build up especially when the more involved items are being ordered. A few times I've heard some people tell the scoopers that they know the owner, at which I've questioned the point. Odd. Speaking on owners, of the times I've visited Scoops I've seen them once. His contribution was yelling at his scoopers. It created an awkward environment and longer wait times. For being vocal and seemingly involved in their community, I expected the owners to be more involved and professional. Poor scoopers. Scoops has potential, yet the atmosphere and friendly staff are hindered by mediocre ice cream and incompetent upper management.

I've definitely been coming here since the beginning (before patio seating and mobile orders) haha thanks to my mom! It's stood out from the very beginning & I love how much they have expanded (3 locations now -- Visalia, Tulare, Fresno). There's something for everyone on their Menu. I personally believe that they have some of the best matcha's around. BUT... if you drink your matcha with LOTS of sweetener, you probably won't like a real matcha from here -- I say this because some will complain that it taste like GRASS... and well, it damn near is (green tea leaves) lol--all jokes aside, their drinks and food are all hand crafted and all made and / or roasted in house! I have not once ever had a complaint about this place. I love the ambience inside and out.. definitely a favorite here in Visalia! Service and time... always as expected. You are getting hand crafted drinks and food, so don't expect them to rush. ****Rush hour in the am and during lunch hours**** The workers are always very knowledgeable about their menu items & products. This was a Huge plus for me, because sometimes I like to ask the employees for their recommendations or personal favorites! (I just always forget to take pictures) haha my mom loves their avo or seasonal toast/ my dad loves the breakfast burritos! You find it because someone told you about it, or because you were looking for a place that feels a little more city than Central Valley. Brick walls, hanging art, a patio out front call it rustic, call it urban, call it hipster. Whatever the word is, it fits. Inside, the place hums. Not the quiet hum of a sleepy café, but the full‑volume buzz of people who treat coffee shops like co‑working spaces. The whole back section was a sea of laptops when I walked in, a slow tide of remote workers drifting out as the hour passed. Young folks, older folks, groups talking over each other a mix that tells you this spot has become a kind of community hub, even if the noise makes it hard to read without noise‑canceling buds. I came for a simple moment, a London Fog and a book. The tea was good, made with Rishi, a brand I'd never heard of but wouldn't mind trying again. I sipped it slowly, trying to sink into the page, but the chatter kept pulling me back to the room. Not a bad thing, just not the right place for quiet reflection. Some cafés are built for solitude; this one is built for motion. The staff was friendly, your standard modern barista crew, casual, quick, and easygoing. They run a tight operation, even offering mobile orders, something you usually see in bigger industrial coffee spots. Pastries, sandwiches, teas, espresso, the menu covers all the bases. Finding the entrance was its own adventure. Two doors, a divider in the middle, and a moment of "Wait... which side do I go through?" Not a dealbreaker, just one of those quirks that makes you laugh once you figure it out. Lighting is interesting here, low lamps mixed with a flood of natural light pouring in from the center of the shop. It gives the place a warm‑meets‑industrial feel, like a café that grew out of a warehouse and decided to keep the personality. Will I come back? Maybe. It's a great spot for people‑watching, conversation, or getting work done. But for reading, for sinking into a book with a drink, it's a place that demands either silence from the world or silence from your earbuds. Component Coffee Lab is loud, lively, and loved, just not quiet. And maybe that's the point.
