She is a friendly, sweet pup, but she is a beast, and when she's excited she's 95 pounds of love that comes at you like a missile! She's now able to find "place" and calm down when people come in, and is so much easier to walk. Training isn't cheap- but it's so worth it! We are going to do some group training soon, and on Sundays you can rent out the entire center so your pup can play and enjoy the equipment. The staff is so wonderful and they just love the dogs. If you're thinking about it... DO IT!

During the first few weeks of having my new puppy I felt so overwhelmed I was ready send him to a boarding training program. But after a quick conversation with Sam who advised me not to, I was convinced to do the work with his help. Sam ALWAYS have solutions to different behaviors, that actually WORK. After each session I notice a tremendous change in my dog's behavior. My young Siberian Husky attended the training for a week last year. When I picked him up, he literally clung to me during my training. At the end, I was concerned about a few things but not enough to speak up during my training for the e collar use. My boy was behaving but something felt off. Once I got him in the car to go home, I gave him his toy that he supposedly had access to all week. He literally whimpered and cried and held the toy. He curled up in the seat during the trip home. It was unusual. I did receive pics and a message praising his progress everyday. That was a positive. One year later, we do not use the e collar and I've spent a lot of time working with my boy. My advice is to ask a lot of questions. Specifically about the daily routine of training, play and socialization during the stay at their facility. I don't think I'd go this route again with my dog.

They said they didn't board other dogs, but then they accidentally emailed me a boarding contract. Oops. They said my dog would be trained 24/7, but then I learned she would be in a cage in a car driving around to other clients and might be used as a distraction dog for training other dogs. Oops. They said they would use a training collar and showed me a chain. They I learned they would use a shock collar for off leash training when I wasn't there. Oops. Oops oops oops one thing after another and finally when the numbers just didn't add up and I read about shock collars and rescue pit bulls I realized this was not for us and our little puppy. She is sweet and we are training her with positive reinforcement. All good.

Sadly they had done zero research and showed up with an insistence to use a choker chain. I know when used properly they can be a good training aid, however with a greyhounds sensitive neck it did not seem necessary. Our male greyhound bared his teeth at the trainer which he said was normal. That was our free lesson. On my own I had both of our hounds able to sit, down and stay using just our martingale collar and a little patience within one week. Please be certain they have learned about your breed before buying a package.

Highly recommend Savanna as well, with her calm comforting demeanor which was a blessing as our boy gets anxious at the groomers.

This stores grooming is sub par for sure. It has gone completely downhill. Not sure if there is new…read moremanagement or no management. Pet fur everywhere, and they walk your clean groomed pet through the dirty old furs on the floor. It's a really nasty grooming area. Even at a hair salon they sweep up after you each client. There was hair and fur all the way to the entry door. Animals have urinated at the door with no clean up. The groomers are not friendly and the customer services is lacking. I will not bring my pet back to this location.

My friends and I are in law school, and I thought that petting some baby goats would give us a…read moremuch-needed break from our studies. My birthday was coming up and seemed like the perfect opportunity for this idea, so I contacted Feels Like Home Farm to set up a private "snuggle session" for six people. I expected to meet the baby goats, pet some alpacas, and be on our way, but the experience was so much more than that! Marcus (one of the owners) gave our group a full tour of the farm and told us so many interesting things about the animals there. Marcus is a great tour guide and really made the experience for us (and has great travel tips). We all walked away knowing a lot more about the animals on the farm and what taking care of them entails. While I was there, I didn't think about law school once! We all had plenty of opportunities to hold the baby goats, which were even more adorable than I imagined they would be. We also fed the alpacas and met a lot of other animals (adult goats, guard dogs, guard geese, and various cats). If you love animals but cannot have your own farm, or if you are up for a unique experience in the Cleveland area, I highly suggest booking a tour and snuggle session at Feels Like Home Farms! I will be back for goat yoga :)

I'm a huge adventure junkie and....this goat yoga party was one of my favorite adventures to date....This farm is literally a utopia... Feels Like Home Farm is AMAZING for: a) Private Parties - Reasonably priced and SO MUCH FREAKING FUN! Also so unique - you're never going to have another party like this! b) Goat Yoga Events - they run community yoga classes on a somewhat-regular basis throughout the year (schedule is on the farm's website!) and they're a great way to get out and try something new with friends. Their instructor, Deanna Black, is an excellent teacher and make the class very unique. I've been doing yoga for years and I'm kind-of a yoga snob....and I freaking love Deanna. Great way to support a local farm! If I could give Alissa (and her family), Deanna, the farm, the goats, the class, and the entire experience 1,000,000,000 stars, I would. I'll call out a couple things, although the list of positives is far too long to write: 1) The farm: Is STUNNING. LOTS of land and very peaceful. They have ~50 goats, primarily 4 different breeds. All are happy, healthy, ADORABLE, and super friendly. They also have 2 awesome dogs, a CUTE LITTLE PIG named Dottie (omg!), and happy ducks waddling around. Their neighbors let us meet their CRAZY-COOL mini donkeys, cows, and pigs! I honestly never wanted to leave. Alissa and her husband took us on a tour of the farm and taught us all about their animals!! It was AWESOME! 2) The people: Alissa, her husband, and her daughters were unbelievably passionate about what they do at the farm, loving towards their animals, and so excited to share their farm with us. Alissa was INCREDIBLY responsive to all of my requests, and personalized literally EVERY little thing about the party. She was very creative, and thought of ideas I NEVER would have (like bringing in a local food truck!). I interact with a lot of business owners through Yelp, and Alissa has been by far the most fun and passionate one yet. 3) The Yoga: If you want a good workout, Deanna's class is great. She is also EXCELLENT at leading guided meditations. I was so relaxed and present by the end of class. Deanna is also AWESOME at incorporating acro-yoga into her classes. We did some CRAZY moves I've never done before (see my pictures!) 4) Convenient location - The farm is only about 25 - 30 minutes from Ohio City and an easy drive. We had no issues with parking at all. HUGE THANK YOU to all of you for making this such an unbelievably unique experience that none of us will forget!

We did the package were the dog goes to then for 8 hours x 3 days with a week in between for practice at home. It's really quite impressive the things these guys teach. Now, I'm not saying we didn't have to work hard to get there, it took a lot of practice and we have to continue to practice. But the change is amazing. I actually like having a dog now. Before, with all the biting, that was questionable. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who has an unruly dog. After having…read moresuch a horrible experience leaving my dog with A1 Bed and Biscuit in Chardon, I began interviewing other Dog kennels. When I had contacted BOW WOW asking for prices, I mistakenly understood the service of the $25 daycare meaning overnight! I discovered it was actually $42-ish for overnight ($37 if you buy a 10 day package). It was simply over our budget as we were looking for a place to care for Winston for over 2 weeks. So, going on a misunderstanding, we scheduled for a 3 hour "interview" with Bow Wow. This is how they see if your dog is compatible with their other day stayers. It makes sense really. So it was totally free and they asked that Winston remain for 3 hours. When I came back to pick him up, they had given me a tour and handed me a folder with Winston's picture on it. LOL. This place is amazingly controlled and they literally put in controls that prevent mishandling of certain diets. This is very important, especially after what Winton went through. I am giving this place a 4/5 star because if we every would need to utilize their services, I can not imagine this place going below a 4/5 star. It simply is in a caliber of kennels all to itself. A week later they called asking if I had any questions. Just a class act!
