I'm 72 and this will be my 3rd new mattress in my life. So my bones ached and pained. Sabrina helped me get my feel about the store. We started with the most expensive. Lovely but out of my range. Went to the middle one and like little Miss Muffet, I found the one I liked. I choose the medium queen size mattress with the remote control. Now that was fun for an old girl. She checked how it helped my back support and I was sold! Easy pay schedule and we did the paperwork in no time. The bed was delivered the next day. That night I sleep like a baby. And I've been sleeping so well all this week. I feel so much better and so do my bones. Felipe and Alberto delivered my bed, set it up, removed my old one all with in 15 minutes. Mattress is great/plus convenience and price. Got a floor sample almost half off. The issue is with the delivery. At the time of purchase, I was quoted a 4 hour window period in the morning, the day prior I got a call confirming my 2pm-4pm delivery. Pretty disappointing wasting one of my few days off waiting for this mattress. I called to see if they could move it, since I live 10 minutes from the location, but that wasn't an option either. The one saving grace of all this was that they would call me an hour prior, to let me know. Which helps out a bit. When they called they told me 45min-hour, and 2 hours later my mattress arrived. I'm no stranger to customer service. Just do what you're going to do, don't over promise, set expectations. My recommendation for anyone reading this, is to confirm everything in writing, and hold them to it. I took the salesman at his word, and now I wish I would have had him write it down on the receipt. The husband and I were in the market for a new mattress to replace our 10-year-old pillowtop, but we wanted to take our time and shop around before making the investment. The first place we went was to the Sleep Number store a few months back -- I literally felt like I was in an hour long sales pitch. Not to mention the beds were outrageously expensive and I didn't want to pay that much for a motorized mattress. We next went to Ortho Mattress at the Long Beach Towne Center some time later. Horrible! We walked into the showroom and the only salesperson in the place was on the phone yelling at either an employee/peer or customer. We walked around the store alone the whole time and she never got off the phone...we walked around looking at the beds, but were really uncomfortable in the environment. That left Sit 'n Sleep -- of course the commercials are always promoting some kind of good deal or promotion. We decided to give it a try yesterday and it was a great experience from start to finish. Bob Cooper was there to greet us, but not once did we feel like we were walking into a web of sales pitches or oversells. The husband and I did a sleep analysis and then Bob showed us around at the different options that would accommodate our needs and the mattresses were at different price points. We also needed new pillows and sheets, and Bob showed us the different options and let us make our own decisions without pressuring us at all to choose higher-priced options. He gave us the specifications and costs and let us decide what we wanted -- I really appreciate that kind of salesperson! We walked out of there with an amazing King mattress, two sheet sets, two memory foam pillows and mattress protector for under $2k -- amazing compared to the other two places we went. I'd highly recommend Sit n' Sleep (especially Bob) to anyone looking for a new mattress. read more

Well, Larry wasn't there, but Jordan was more than happy to help us out. Jordan wasn't at all like the used car salesman I thought we would run into. He was friendly and not at all pushy. He let us try practically half the mattresses in the store, even to super duper Bentley of mattresses. Finally, after jumping around on all the beds like a monkeys we decided on one the was slightly out of our price range, but Jordan gave us such a good deal and added a few extras that we simply couldn't refuse. A bed is an investment in good sleep. It's one of those items that you should be willing to spend money on, and Jordan makes you feel really good about your purchase. If you go, go see him. It was about time I started looking for a new mattress. Since I've only been in the area for about a year, I was a bit leery going into no-name stores, or worse, a full price department store. Luckily, Sit 'n Sleep just opened up near Belmont Heights, last week as a matter of fact! My family and I have purchased from Sit 'n Sleep before, and had always trusted the name. I walked into the vast showroom to be greeted by friendly gentleman named Kevin. My main objective that day was just to get informed, and get introduced to new mattress options. Kevin is very knowledgeable, and listened very well about my experiences in the past between memory foam, and spring mattresses. Walking through the show room, I was able to try out a VARIETY of mattress options (which was a big plus for me), and he had introduced me to a hybrid memory foam / spring... and boy was I happy! I spent what seemed 30 minutes in there, only to realize it was about an hour and a half selecting the perfect mattress to purchase on the spot! Keven was able to answer all my questions, no matter how obscure I was (I'm not a mattress expert, but he certainly made me feel very good, and supportive about any thought I had about the options I was trying out). What I like most about Kevin, is that he goes out of his way to look out for me. I decided to go with an adjustable foundation, but chose a brand that wasn't a match to the mattress. A couple of hours after I had signed and finalized my transaction, he called to advise me, that the matching brand had a foundation option that uses the exact same components as the other base I selected, but will now match my mattress. Best of all, it actually costs LESS, saving me money! He didn't have to go through that trouble, but Kevin is so on top of the game, he went that extra mile for me. I've had my new bed for two nights, and I am absolutely LOVING it! I am very happy to see such a reputable company establishing a presence in the Long Beach / Belmont Shore area. The wide variety of mattresses available in the showroom will accommodate most (if not all) customers looking for a new mattress. Such selections include high quality cost effective options, to even the most luxurious mattress available in the market today! I even saw organic cotton options, I might have remembered seeing eco-friendly options, and of course, the hybrid (my favorite!). We were in the process of moving and couldn't take our old bedroom set. Fortunately Sit n Sleep opened with Covid precautions. We went in with masks and were handed plastic sheets to take with us to lay on the beds as we tried them out. The salesman was great. He showed us the beds that fit our profile and stepped away to let us try the beds out without hovering. When it was time to buy, they price matched without a hassle. Just showed them the price on another website. We got a headboard and platform also that fit our style. Delivery was great too. We got a 3 hour window the night before and then a 1 hour notice when the guys were on the way. Fernando and Carlo were polite, professional and masked. I was under the impression that the only way to get a queen mattress under $1000 was to purchase a bed in a box online. I was more than wrong! We tried an online mattress first and was unhappy. We decided to try Sit n' Sleep because their prices are super competitive. We worked with Alex and he was great! We were very happy with our experience. He was helpful and there when we had questions, but didn't "hover" and was low pressure. It made us feel comfortable. We purchased a mattress, box spring, and mattress protector, free delivery and set up for around the same as the online mattress (without all the extras). They even have a beautiful outdoor patio behind the gallery. It took less than an hour for us to test every single mattress in the store, and Joe Ryan was very helpful in providing the knowledge I needed to make my final decision. I ended up purchasing the Kingsdown Passions Vienna Blue mattress, box spring, and mattress protector. My total came to just under $1200, which was a steal considering the mattress was originally priced at $1800+. At Sit N Sleep, your home delivery and setup is completely free. I scheduled a day and time window, and filled out some simple paperwork. When my mattress was delivered, the employees were punctual, professional, and efficient. They hauled away my old IKEA mattress for free, and set up my wonderful new one. I could not be happier with my purchase or experience at Sit N Sleep. read more

They okay with picking the mattress, but they really need to do better with the delivery. They were 30 minutes late. And of course they were! They had ONE guy delivering a king sized mattress. We were told we wouldn't have to do anything. So, not only did I not get the mattress on time my husband also had to help with the entire delivery and installation process. Will never buy from a Sit n Sleep again. Ridiculous how much money we spent and how much they cheaped out on the delivery process. Finally showed up with my family. Nicole assisted us and spent a good deal of time showing us different mattresses and explaining all of the different options. Yesterday my wife and I decided to go to Sit 'n Sleep to finally buy a new mattress. We were immediately greeted by Iterling and he took us under his wing during the whole process. We was extremely knowledgable about his product and was very good about knowing what price points to acknowledge without being pushy. We bought this mattress on a Sunday, tomorrow (Tuesday) they are already delivering the new mattress and bed, and taking away our old mattress. Well it does and they have a great salesman​ by the name of William who is a genuinely​ super nice guy. Oh and btw, the bed we ended up with is AMAZING - US Made, no-glue, hand-tucked and came with all the bells, whistles and Zero-G's - Also free next day delivery, free set-up, free haul away! First I have mention a deceptive practice amongst mattress stores. That is the iDENTICAL mattress has different names in every store. A particular Serta will be called one name in Sit'n Sleep and another name in Ortho Mattress and yet another name at Macy's. So it impossible to compare prices. So, this is where Sit'n Sleep comes in. We decided on three different mattresses, brought in the price and asked the Sit'n Sleep salesperson to let us know if they can beat or match the price on the three mattresses (Stearns and Foster, and Aeirloom). They said they had to call the manufacturer to find what those mattresses are called in Sit'n Sleep. They would call us back with the prices. What a surprise, no call. Sit'n Sleep carries a wide variety of both mattresses. If they didn't carry one of those three mattresses I'm sure they would call back to get me to buy another type, or just to be polite. Most likely they couldn't match the price! In that case I would get them for free....right LARRY? I didn't bother calling them because of the great deception! They would simply say they didn't carry that model. Thats because that name does not exist outside the store we got the low bid. Can you think of any other identical item that has a different name at different stores? Sit'n Sleep uses this deception in their advertising. They may or may not have good prices.....but you will never know! read more

We looked for mattresses at three different places and this was the best. I didn't feel like they were upselling us and they were good at explaining the differences. The other place was just agreeable to everything we asked. The salesman here was good at giving us privacy to test out the bed without hovering. Avoid Sit and Sleep.Defective mattress. They sent out a third party inspector and he lied after turning the mattress with the caved side to other side and said it was defective and then went on to tell store it was not. He lied. The store customer service was rude and will not replace mattress still under warranty for replacement. The store manager said they would work with me but did not. They lied as well. At first I would have given this 5 stars. The process of trying different mattresses was easy and felt safe with covid safety precautions. I bought a mattress and confirmed it to be delivered the following day. Meanwhile I took apart my old bed, sold my mattress topper, and sat waiting for my mattress to be delivered. After the delivery window, I called to follow up and they said that the mattress was on back-order. I bought a floor model so this was a mistake. And now the new mattress can't be delivered for 2 more days. I am hoping to be given a discount for this inconvenience, yet I was told I can't speak to the staff member for 3 days. Frustrating to spend so much money on a mattress and then have these issues with the delivery. read more
