He was very knowledgeable and answered ALL our questions very patiently. We ended up with a great memory foam (cool gel) mattress by Simmons and couldn't be happier. Another GREAT thing about Sit n' Sleep is that they have a huge warehouse that houses all their stock so we were able to buy the mattress on the Sunday of Presidents' Day weekend and it was delivered on Tuesday. Some of the other mattress placed we went to had to order mattresses from the manufacturer and woudln't have been able to deliver them for weeks. She is an elderly woman who was very vested in her 20 year old bed and was resistent to change. Went in yesterday looking for a new mattress since our current mattress is killing us. My brother purchased a Stearns and Foster mattress from their local Sit 'n Sleep so we decided to check our local store. We were helped by Sabrina. She took us directly to the Stearns and Foster area and let us try out all the beds. No pressure at all. Then she took us to the bed that reads what type my wife and I should get based on our sleep habits. We then went back to the bed area and check our specific color to get a better idea of what to purchase. I began to get a little hungry so we told Sabrina we would come back after we ate. I am not sure she believed us but we did come back and work with her. While at lunch, I researched Aireloom mattresses and asked her about those. She said she has one at home and that she loves it. Although a bit pricey, she never tried to up sell us. So, we walked out of there with a mattress, pillows and a sheet set. She made the sale easy and fun. I don't really know about the beds here because I was so turned off by the aggressive sales tactics that I wouldn't even consider buying a bed here. I actually got a quote on the bed I wanted, and I told the sales guy (Rich) that I wanted his LOWEST quote because I was not going to mess around negotiating and going back and forth with him. He quoted me almost $6K for the bed and adjustable frame I wanted...then he started muttering something about giving me a deal on the long term protection for free...blah...blah...blah. I went over to Aladdin Sleep Center and bought the EXACT same bed, with a much better adjustable base (top of the line TempurPedic) and walked out the door for $1.5K less. This review is strictly about Jackie.. She was wonderful! She made it possible for my husband and I to sleep in the same bed again. We are polar opposites when it comes to what we want in a bed. He basically wants a marshmallow, and I prefer a padded floor board. Jackie was extremely helpful with helping us choose the perfect bed for us. Kyle's bed side manor was amazing. I had no idea that there were so many different bed and pillow combinations. I finally graduated to a real adult size bed. From a twin to a queen. I went in one day, and Keith helped me out. He was a nice and non-pushy sales man. I probably tried and retried every mattress in their store before making our choice. They have everything ranging from cheap ....all the way up to 20k dollar beds. In the end the wife and I decided on a nice mem foam/gel bed that keeps the temp cool. I have never been happier spending so much cash on a piece of furniture. Neither of us want to crawl out of this bed. They helped provide financing and delivery/setup was great. Literally everything you need for your bed can be found there from start to delivery. So much to say! First--Jackie is awesome! Picking out a new mattress is a tough process and Jackie made it so much nicer! She was patient, listened to what I liked and disliked and guided me accordingly. She explained every kind of mattress to me; there's an overwhelming number of options these days but I never felt overwhelmed with Jackie. She made me feel comfortable enough to really spend time lying on the mattresses (I was seriously there for several hours!) and enjoy the process rather than stressing over it. After my initial purchase I had a change of heart (or should I say my back had a change of heart) and decided a different mattress would be better for me. Jackie helped me through the easy exchange and was as patient as ever with my second round of bed sampling. Arrived in Long Beach and I needed a new bed so I went to Sit n Sleep. Probably the best decision I could have made! Came in knowing we wanted a tempurpedic and Keith was helping another couple. He took a moment to welcome us and see what we were looking for and he immediately pointed to the cloud supreme. We tried out every single one afterward and ended up getting the one he had originally recommended. The female of the other couple was getting prickly at not being the center of attention, and was making sure the entire warehouse knew just how "luxurious" each mattress she tried was or wasn't, so Keith tended to them while we decided to come back later. When I did come back he remembered me and helped set everything up pretty well. Delivery didn't call me to let me know when they'd be here, but luckily my boss was out so I left to go let them in. Been loving my bed every day for the past 4 weeks. Sometimes I'd rather be here with my girlfriend than anywhere else in the world. Cal King Tempur Cloud Supreme - 10/10 (i love this bed so much) Tempur Cloud Supreme pillows - 8/10 (a bit too fluffy, and damn do they trap heat, but side sleeping with them is pretty great) Can't remember the brand of sheets but they were the top of the line, and of course 10/10. We purchased a mattress today at Sit and Sleep. The experience was actually pleasant and informative. Our salesperson was Sabrina who was the most knowledgeable and helpful sales rep we have ever encountered. I truly thought we were just looking but Sabrina took us through a special process that helped us find the perfect mattress and set up for our bedroom. First she used a scientific bed that measured our pressure points and sleeping style. After sleeping in this bed in different positions the data was being recorded and we were given info on the type of mattress that would best suit us. We were assigned medium plush and lo and behold each of the ones we tried all felt incredibly comfortable. Then Sabrina explained the materials and construction in each and the pros and cons of each. Next she guided us toward the frame or platform that would work- several great options but we went with one that raises or lowers the head or feet. I almost fell asleep just testing them they were so comfortable. We were more than thrilled with our purchase and the time and attention that Sabrina gave us. She was the only employee working while we were there and there was one other client and she handled both our needs very well being as she was short staffed. She showed us several options in all price ranges and never made us feel rushed or like we had to pick something super pricey. We had the baby with us too and she was so great with him and we talked about our babies and had great conversation! Finally we agreed on a mattress that worked for both of us and the checkout was very quick and easy! She got us a great deal and a lot of added bonuses with the mattress. I also like that you can sleep on it for 60 days and if its not right for you you can exchange it for a different one!
