The driveway entrance can be a little tricky to spot but once you are in there is lots of parking available. The employees at Weatherbee Nursery are very knowledgeable and helpful. Frequently at check out they will have great tips for the best ways to keep your plants thriving. I really appreciate the knowledge and kindness they show to us. The nursery itself is quite large and they have lots of native trees, shrubs, fruit trees, cover crops, flowers, herbs and veggies. Off to the left side when you checkout they have soils and fertilizers to help keep your plants thriving. The prices are a good value as well I've found. I'll certainly be back to Weatherbee Nursery. Great people, great plants and great service.

I talked with one of the owners, John Sr., of the pop and son business, and he informed me all about air plants and I couldn't not buy some - they were so beautiful! I got 3 for $10 and was told how to take care of them (super easy) and in a few months they will sprout more, so fun! You can really tell they love what they do as they hand out business cards with cell phone numbers just in case you have any care questions about plants you purchase from them. They carry tropical plants including air plants, bromeliads, orchids, seagrass baskets and more. If you want to make a cool indoor garden, this is your spot. These are great for house warming presents or gifts as well. Can't wait to get more!

The friendly staff, Melody?, kindly advise me that Florida has a lot of pests so fruit trees have to be maintained. She also pointed out two other places that sell edibles. I definitely will be back when I need ornamentals to color up my yard. FYI they weren't busy when I went at 11am so I was in and out.

I spoke with the folks at the shop and they recommended fertilizing with their signature blend. Without hesitation, i bought it and used it religiously every 3 months for over a year. Well, 2 years later both palms are dying and after spending 2k on the palms with installation they offered absolutely nothing to fix it other than a phone call and recommending to add more fertilizer. again, they installed them and all. I know palms can be tricky and user error to an extent but I did everything by the book. It's a shame their customer service isn't better and they own the fact that maybe they installed inferior palms.

It's so important for places like this to exist and get funding. It looks like you can have an event here. They also have different events and provide a lot of information about the plants they have such as where they are native to and the history. We came on a Tuesday and it was nice and quiet with maybe a small handful of other people also visiting. It was a pleasant walk around the grounds, talking in the Floridian sunshine and beauty of the gardens. It's not a large garden but it's still very worth a visit in my opinion!
