They have gravel pavers flagstone mulch and 8 inch glass rocks! I was in and out they put the pallet in my truck and now I am super happy with my pavers and boulders. Nice experience. read more

This is the fourth time I have gone the Bushel Stop in the past two years. Each time, the staff ( especially Rick) were very patient with me, answering all my questions, as we walked the yard. Just yesterday, as busy as they were, Rick made me feel like an important customer, taking care of others, but coming back to me quickly. He even loaded my car. The plants I bought at the Bushel Stop last year, have been healthy and flourishing. I especially like the sun rose plants and the Asian white jasmine - they are always blooming. The rocks I purchased compliment my exterior house color effectively. I highly recommend The Bushel Stop in Port St Lucie for your landscaping needs. I just called to ask a question about putting rocks along my fence line to help prevent toads and snakes from getting into my yard and the guy who answered was a jerk. He talked down to me, basically told me that my question was stupid and that no rocks will prevent snakes or toads from getting under my fence. And that whoever told me that was mistaken. Regardless of who is wrong or right, the way he spoke to me was uncalled for and very rude. Not the way to gain customers. read more

I've called several times to get information about items' availability, recommendations and advice; have always been met with a kind and friendly person on the other end of the line that's quite knowledgeable. When at the location you're free to roam and browse their inventory, when you're inside being helped you get the same service as you did on the phone. I purchased items that were delivered to my home, there was an issue and it was quickly rectified. The way in which it was handled was by far one of the best ways I've ever experienced and for that alone I'd recommend this store and location to everyone. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Can't even call it service. My husband and I have been Bushel Stop customers for over 20 years in the Lake Worth location (Maria is amazing and just as pleasant and helpful as she can be). I was happy to see a location in PSL and decided to go there as I'm redoing some landscaping in my front yard. First, the location is 1/5 the size of the Lake Worth locale. No biggie, they had plants that could work. Looked around for a flatbed cart to load plants, didn't see any. Went into little shack to ask about the cart and the young woman behind the register could have cared less. "They're out there somewhere " was her response. Fine, I'll find one. Found the only one they had and dragged it to some plants I wanted. I was there to buy 32 plants in all. A guy walks by and I ask him for some help. I tell him about the sun and soil conditions hoping for some insight on just 2 of the plants I was looking to buy. When I'm done he asks me where my truck is. I point to it and he says why do you have the cart? I tell him it's to load the plants. He then says 'so you have no idea what you want right?' At this point I just thought to myself that I would hate myself if I gave them $3 much less $300. I looked at him like he was stupid, which he was, and turned around and left. Found everything I needed at Home Depot and for at least $4 less per plant. And they were more than happy to help. It was a nice run Bushel Stop but we're done with you. read more

I have bought Chattahoochee river rock several times from the Bushel Stop in the last 10 years and each time the rock was getting smaller than 1/2" even though it is listed as that size. This last time, we decided to screen this delivery with a 1/4" screen that we have and remove the sand and small pebbles that was in it. We have a problem with ants and they love this sand. By the time we were done, we had 6- 5 gallon pails (5 cu. ft.) of sand and very small gravel. All of this went through the 1/4" screen! This rock was suppose to be 1/2"! When I called, the manager said to take pictures of the buckets and he would look at them which I did. He looked at the pictures and even though I brought a 5 gallon pail with me for him to see, he wouldn't look at it. He stated that each load is different and that is just how it is. The delivery that we got doesn't look at all like the sample bin of the 1/2" rock they display. He gave me a number to call but it was always busy. Figuring out the weight of the buckets, we lost about 1/6th of the product in sand and small pebbles. This is not a very good buy at $238.00 including delivery. We will not be buying from them again. I just recently bought a half pallet of sod (90 pieces) from the Port St Lucie Location, although the price was good the sod was half dead. It even had mold growing on it. I plan on calling tomorrow to see how they will handle it. read more

DO NOT BUY SOD from this place. My sod was delivered in a dump truck. It was impossible to inspect it unless you climbed into the dumper. Once dumped you own it. It was brown and the soil backing was very thin it broke apart as it was handled. I brought some pieces back to the store. One of the employees said it was bad, but the store manager didn't want to here it. He gave me a number to call, but that person just blamed me. Nobody from this company cares about customer satisfaction. Turns out they charge way too much for sod and delivery. Sod can be found for less and free delivery and they will set it on the ground. The quality will be better too. Now I have to buy more sod and throw this sod away because it is so thin my yard is not level next to good sod. read more

Good mulch! I got melaleuca mulch there recently and it was exactly what I wanted. Good consistency. No big lumps. Was easy to spread in my landscaping beds. Melaleuca has several advantages over other types of mulch, as per my internet research, but it was hard for me to find a retail outlet that carries it. I was so glad to find that Bushel Stop carries it. Thank you Bushel Stop. Oh, and the gentleman that assisted me was pleasant to deal with. I will buy from them again! read more
