Filthy Place and Fake service. This pandemic should teach us how to be aware of cleanliness but this place when I came in , the hair brushes were dirty, the salon equipment was dusty and and soiled. The service they gave me did not reach my expectations as I paid good amount including tip to the guy named Siwoo. They only have any stars bc they were polite. There were only 2 nail technicians there today and they both tried to be polite. However, none of them know what they are doing. I wanted a regular pedicure and manicure. The woman did not know how to put the plastic liner on the tub and spent 10 minutes fussing and the plastic kept popping off. Then they never put the drain stopper in properly and so the tub kept emptying with my feet in it and they kept trying to refill it. They didn't have clean looking nice towels to prop your feet or wrists up with. Also my typical salon puts lotion on my feet and quickly massages them. There are no extra touches added here. By the time it was time for my manicure I didn't have enough time left... I opted to leave bc when the man went to file my nails he filed it into a tiny looking claw. I don't recommend to go to this place, at least for the hair cut. It was a very bad experience for my first visit to this place because the guy was very rude. The guy asked me "How much do you want to cut?" I answered just trim a little bit. He raised his voice and repeated the question again "How much do you want to cut?". I said just trim it a little bit to make the hair thinner. He raised his voice in a even higher pitch "How-Much-Do-You-Want-to-Cut!". I was a little bit annoyed and asked him "What do you mean by that". Now he just started to shout at me "HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO CUT!!!". Maybe I was giving some vague instruction at the beginning (even though other barbers I have visited were having no difficultness to understand same instructions), the guy could have just given some explanations instead of shouting to me with the same questions again and again. read more

ZERO STARS - Please Consider this Review when choosing your nail salon - let's insist the business owners attempt to communicate with the customers in good faith and be able to speak some English in order to get the job done. Terrible customer service. No one could speak English and owner lied to me: Three weeks ago I went for a gel manicure with silk wraps and pedicure. I spent over $120. Three weeks later I tried to make an appointment with the same nail technician and when I called the girl could not help me identify who worked on my nails. She said just come in and we scheduled an appointment for Saturday at 11 am. I couldn't continue the conversation on the phone because the girl couldn't speak english and the converation was very awkward and not productive. When I arrived on time, two women behind the counter and a man (who may be the manager or owner) still could not recall who did my nails. Very strange and odd. Then the one girl said Sorry only 1 person here and she just started doing someone else's nail. This is not acceptable. I explained I had an appointment and walked here in the freezing cold to be on time. so rude, unprofessional and couldn't care at all!!!!!We couldn't communicate because all 3 of them, could not speak English and it was frustrating to discuss since I couldn't understand her and she couldn't understand me! Then the owner/manager guy says to be - women had emergency and could not be here. I replied by telling him not to lie to me because it was already established that no one knew who I was talking about. More Cons - the store was cold. There is not cover on front door which makes the salon freezing cold. Appears they give a majority of the business to the Asian workers and the one Russian women (who has been there forever and is the only one who speaks English) had to ask the owner several times to take on a pedicure since he was giving business to the other women. read more

i've been here once for a simple haircut and it was fine. prompt and no flairs but listened to only cut a few inches off. i came again to get gel done so they had to remove the current gel on my nails. the nail tech was busy so they said i should just wait and soak my nails and i should be seen soon. so im sitting there with the acetone on my nails for over 10 mins and they start to really HURT. so i take the wraps off and start scraping it by myself and they still have paid 0 attention to me since sitting down. so i just tell them im leaving and i left. never coming back. my thumb nail in particular hurt for a few days randomly afterwards as well. read more

Sunny did my nails and was amazing in her technique, personal manner, and treatment, also great leg massages. Thank you for all of it. The reclining chair for my hair and the massage Monica gave me while washing my hair was incredible. Felt so relaxed. And the finishing cherry on top of the cake was the silky smooth finish the hair stylist (and owner) did for my hair as he blew it out and flipped it and added volume to it so beautifully and professionally. I got recommend by a friend to try Siwoos Hair Salon and.. I LOVED IT! They REALLYY know what they are doing! Sera was the stylist who did my hair! They charge $60 for wash+cut+blowdry.. but had promotion for grand opening and got it all done for $45. I wouldnt mind paying $60 the next time after knowing her skills. THANK YOU Sera! So I went to get a quick pedicure before meeting a friend . I went in and they sat me quick because the place was completely dead . I sat down and asked for white . I had white originally on my toes but one of the toes was messy so I wanted it redone and I need a actual pedicure since it's been a week and wearing sandals was making them rough . Long story short the lady who did my nails was just horrible. Super aggressive, kept pushing my feet and legs like I was some idiot . Did not scrape my heels or ask if I wanted a callus remover . Was so unhappy. But what was worse is she did a horrendous job on the polish . The white is soo unbelievably messy and looks like a child did it! She asked me I liked it , I said no but I had to run so I just wanted to leave she gave me some crappy paper flops and made me walk down stairs to a dryer which ended me in ruining the job she horribly had done. She attempted to fix it but made it even worse . She also added some clear pink polish and now there's a pink hue . I'll never ever be going back again worse place ever!!! Weakest blow dry I have ever had. My hair is very fine, shoulder length and wavy/frizzy-not hard to blow dry by any means. I walked in about 10am (the storefront says they open at 9:30) I stood there about 5 mins before anyone acknowledged me. I needed a blow dry before having a passport photo taken. A woman walks into the store and says hello, how can I help you? I said I need a blow dry, she directed me to the upper level. The man shows me to the wash station, I mention I washed my hair this morning, but it has dried already. He brings me to the chair and wets my hair with a spray bottle, which is fine with me, should be easier to blow dry when the hair is not completely wet. He takes large sections of hair and does 2-3 passes with the blow drier and that is it. My hair is still not even completely dry. I mention it and he is gone, already at the cash register waiting for me to come pay. He runs my card for $30 with no option to write in the tip on the receipt so he needs to run my card again to leave a tip. I step outside and my hair is frizzing within 10 minutes. Incompetent and oblivious? Won't come back, which sucks because I live so close and need my hair blow dried at least once per week, twice per week in the summer. Oh well, should have maybe said "hi" or "do you like your hair?" I may have given them another chance if there was any of that, I swear I'm not difficult to please haha just want my hair blow dried.
