The shop is located upstairs, on Port Moody's high street. The shop is very clean and the staff very professional. After signing a waver form we got to choose which flat back studs we wanted. You get a basic stud with the appointment, for a few bucks more you can get some other. One of the rules is that you're allowed to have 1 person in the room with you (for support if you need it), due to the size of the room. Everything was new and sterile. Libby was great in letting us know what to expect and what we would be feeling. My niece who was pretty nervous didn't even feel the first piercing. After both ears were done, she came out saying she barely felt it. I'm so proud of her! My helix looks great! So happy we had gone here. After all was done and paid, Libby had given us information for the proper and healing of our piercings. What to expect and what not to do, super informative. Something I wish I had known the first time I got my helix pierced. It is a CASH ONLY location, so make sure your wallet is filled.

She's not that friendly and she made a spelling mistake on my husband's tattoo...and it was a tattoo that already had the correct spelling, but was being touched up! She misspelled the word "Always" wrong..spelling it Alwyas . We didn't notice it until we left the shop (and my husband had given her a $20.00 tip for the touch up, which I think she should have given back). So we had to make yet another trip there, paying tolls, etc. Leanne offered to fix it, but it's difficult to fix the letter "y" hanging down. She covered it with white. It still looks sucky and we were very disappointed. My daughter and her husband had horrible tattoos (finger ring tattoos) done there also, which they have had to pay to have fixed at another tattoo shop. Do not get a tattoo done by Leanne!!! PS - just wanted to add a PS here and explain that my husband needs glasses for reading and was not wearing them at the time :)

After some research, I knew I had to have my tattoo done by Fay. A few weeks before my trip, I called, paid my deposit, and sent over my design with the tweaks I wanted. Everything was set, and my excitement started to build. Fast forward to the day of my appointment--I arrived right on time, and Fay was already waiting, ready to go. She printed out my design, and let me tell you: she *nailed it*. First try, no edits needed. She even printed a few different sizes so we could settle on the perfect one. And before I knew it, she was tattooing. Yes, it hurt (because, of course it does), but the pain faded as quickly as it came. Chatting with Fay was a blast, and to top it off, she even touched up one of my older tats. And the pricing? Absolutely fantastic for the quality. But I wasn't done. Apparently, one tattoo wasn't enough--I decided to get a tragus piercing with Adam. Now, it had been 10 years since I'd had anything pierced, so naturally, I didn't quite remember what to expect. But Adam was a total pro. He distracted me effortlessly with great conversation, and before I knew it, the piercing was done. His vibe? Impeccable. I actually went to Adrenaline after visiting another place that told me that there's a risk of migration/rejection due to the shape of my belly button. I went to adrenaline looking to get a second opinion and they said that migration or rejection is due to the piercing itself more so than the person's anatomy. I thought that was interesting and found both places to have a reasonable backing to their explanation (but then again, I don't know that much to begin with). Overall, the experience at Adrenaline was pleasant and there was minimal pain. I give this place a 4 as I think they can be more thorough with explaining their equipment prep procedure and the aftercare for piercing. This picture is 2 weeks after piercing and the cost was ~$80 (jewellery included).

I'm not happy with this, but there's nothing I can do about it now. I went to Body Jewels and the staff there took a look at my belly ring and said "whoever pierced this did it way too deep." Because of this inconvenience I would advise any girls who want their belly pierced to go to Adrenaline or any other store!
