Not a fan, won't go back, booked a piercing appointment in Feb 2026, showed up on time and excited, Megan was unwelcoming, rushed jewelry pick and seemed annoyed to be there, one would think when you're about to be in a bit of pain there could be some kindness shown, interest, maybe a calming behaviour, some banter and such. Nope. Paid a pretty penny for a flat helix piercing, thought all would be ok. Decided to go to my regular piercer to downsize (I should have never veered from whom I generally go to) and they were concerned why such a thick gauge was used, I mentioned where I got it and was told they fix a lot of the piercings done there. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! I was 5 minutes late to my appointment due to a parking issue, and what followed was the most appalling experience I've ever had with an employee. Caleigh, who was working at the shop, was immediately rude, hostile, and completely unprofessional. She had the audacity to tell me I was costing her money just by standing in the shop, and things escalated when she began cussing and swearing at me. I couldn't believe someone like this is even employed at Memento! My sister and I have been loyal customers for years and have never encountered such abhorrent behavior. When I calmly mentioned our history with the business, her response was, "I don't care." Even restaurants offer a 15-minute grace period, and my appointment confirmation did not mention any zero-tolerance policy for lateness. To treat customers like this over being 5 minutes late is beyond absurd. I urge the owners to review the camera footage of this incident and see the disgusting conduct displayed by their employee. Memento used to be a place we loved, but after this horrific experience, we will never return. Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere. read more

My review is for tattoos and a piercing. I was visiting from California and wanted a tattoo to commemorate the life of someone who recently passed away. I trusted Jax for this important tattoo. She is incredibly kind, talented, patient, a perfectionist at her craft and I knew I could trust her. She amazed me with the final design and was patient while considering sizing and placement. Once we got started I got to sit back and enjoy good conversation and many laughs...even a few tears talking about the meaning behind this artwork. Thank you, Jax, for your compassion and caring during the time we sat together. She was also thorough with instructions on aftercare and answered any follow up questions in the coming weeks. While in the shop I decided to get a second nose piercing. I admired their incredible selection and the piercer took her time deciding placement, perfect sizing and she created a calm atmosphere for me to be in. She explained every single thing she did, walked me through breathing and followed up the experience with thorough aftercare advice. She offered to assist in any questions as it healed. My overall experience was 100% amazing. The space itself is clean, well designed and beautiful to be in. The staff got me coffee, water and checked in on us both very often. It was flawless from the moment I walked in. Another thing I enjoyed was how well the staff got along. You could tell they all care deeply about one another and are friends. The other artists pop by to admire the work being done. It's such a pleasure to see and enjoy such a well run business. The artists work stations were also really well designed and the software program they use to do design work on was incredible. Honestly, I can't say enough positive things...I could go on and on. Amazing studio and service. My sister and I went to get our ears pierced (helix and lobes) and our experience was awesome. Ryan was very thorough and super friendly. He carefully explained the do's and don'ts of aftercare, explaining why or why not to do certain things, etc. Every thing is EXTREMELY sterile and done by needle. It's a little more on the pricey side, but I definitely believe that it's worth it. read more

Great place . Came here to get some help as one of my piercings had got stuck inside my lip . They were able to help and suggest a better size for me . They also had some really great items ;clothes , purses , accessories at really reasonable prices . Staff was really knowledgable , friendly , and helpful ! We walked in and in a short amount of time walked out. Simply due to the receptionists condescending and impatient attitude. She was polite but her attitude, even after saying we were knew to that scene, was condescending. We left and will look elsewhere for that type of service. read more

Had a stellar experience getting my sleeve tattoo by Jesse. Very professional shop from the front counter through the whole experience. Jesse took the time to listen and drew the design free hand. If your looking for poor service , shitty work and tons of attitude this is the place to go. They have 2 skilled tattoists.... jesse and hooka ... the rest are at best average, who wants to pay good money for an average tattoo. They have a junior artist who does the same type of style as one of there senior artists..Why pay for the senior when the junior does cleaner and better work.( my mistake) Not worth the money, time or effort.
