If I could give negative stars I would!! We waited in line for over an hour to turn in our cans. It was a weekday at 9:45. There was one car in line before us who said he had been waiting already for a half hour. The men were just walking around like they had no idea what was going on. Then the "roach coach" came and they all went up and ordered food and went back under their shelter and ate it. Oblivious to the customers waiting. I always dread gathering my recycling and heading out! However as soon as I get to six pack recycling I forget that. The staff is always smiling, efficient and friendly... Regardless of how hot or cold it may be outside. Never hear a complaint or even a grunt. I recently waited an hour to recycle some car rims but had to wait the grace period to pick up my money when I went back the line was long again so I went through the other gate since I was only picking up my money for the rims which only took me 5 minutes. When I parked my car one of workers that separate the recycle came up to me got in face (no social distancing) and started to yell at me that I had to come through the other gate. I explained to him what I was doing but he continued to yell and said I don't care what you have to do you need to wait in the line so rude he couldn't even tell me nicely. I would of gave this 1 star but the lady at the window was really nice. read more

You know my husband and I have been here many times and have had wonderful experiences in the past, but lately it has been awful. From the really long lines, the screaming angry lady who directs the vehicles, to the rude helpers. They really used to have outstanding customer service, however our last experience was so bad, my husband finally looked into getting a water filtration system to avoid ever having to recycle water bottles again. A guy who helped us, (who was probably having a bad day, but not our problem) we are those people who basically fill up the garage before we recycle, so we had probably about 20 bags filled with plastic bottles and 1 bag with cans, we had one bag, where literally 1 can accidentally ended up in a bag of plastic bottles, The guy literally threw the bag back in my husband's truck didn't tell him one thing until my husband asked what he did that for? Then, he said you can't separate items on site. It was literally 1can, I mean 1 can. My husband was shocked, then my husband looks at a different worker separating a lady's recycled items. He was real upset and in the end it was kind of a good thing/ bad thing, bad service, husband angry, and we ended up getting a water filtration system so we can cut down on plastic bottles to avoid recycling. read more

Having never been here before there were no posted signs as to what one is supposed to do. So I sat in my car and waited as I was instructed to do so. It is now my turn to have the gentleman help me put my bottles and cans into their barrels. However, the gentleman told me I was fucking stupid because I didn't have everything separated! I did not know that was a requirement. When I expressed to him my apologies and that I didn't know it was a requirement he told me "learn to read bitch" at the end of this when I turned in my cans He said oh I'm giving you a coupon for the cans in hopes that you will accept my apologies for being so pissed with you. This is the worst recycling place I've been too. All workers are very unprofessional. This guy BRIAN is the worst of them all. Always very rude, arrogant and unprofessional. This place is really nice. Where i come from, you cant get paid for your recycling unless it is scrap metal. I think it is awesome to have a place like this nearby to bring my home recycling for cash. We went on the weekend (Saturday) around 12 and it did take a while before we were seen, but the actual process of getting weighed and processed was swift. We went home with $21 for our load. The staff was very nice and helpful. We will definitely be back to do this again, probably during the week to miss the crowd. read more

First time experience here. These guys were awesome, start to finish. I like the fact they help you unload your car. If needed, they'll sort the scrap from the recyclable. Our sorters name per the receipt was Joseph Hernandez, so props to him for being fast, efficient, courteous. The entire process was great, and we got a great price for our recyclables. I am just curious how I get a cash ticket for $29+ from the guy that took my plastic, get to the cashier and she tells me that I was only going to get $0.98. Wow. I guess I only get $0.02 per pound for plastic carriers instead of $0.58 per pound as posted. They should probably inform their employees how to properly price the plastic so they can explain it to customers. I also had a receipt from about 3 weeks ago that I had taken cans, plastic bottles and the plastic carriers. The guys taking my plastic carriers that time told me I was getting paid for the plastic at the posted price, then when I got home and looked at my receipt, they put it in as scrap at $0.00. They gave me $0.70 for this one. Spent about 45 minutes in line and get $1.68!!! Then as I was leaving, the lady in the office says "Have a nice day." through the speaker in a sarcastic tone. Six-PAC Recycling has been consistent for the three years I've been a patron in providing excellent service. The cashiers, and employees assisting with the recyclables, have always been friendly and helpful. The facility is clean, run very well, and organized. Went yesterday (Monday around 2:30 pm) I was there 23 minutes, it was super hot and there were only two workers. When I got there there was a lady giving ticket numbers. She just gave me the ticket and pointed to where I supposed to drive and wait. The guy in front of me was getting the big plastic containers to start sorting his recycle bottles when the lady screamed at him and said "you cant do that" and took them away from him. Its been at least a couple of months we haven't gone there but yesterday was not pleasant at all. Waiting for too long, lady not speaking just pointing and screaming. Please have more personal available so employees and customers are happier.
