Shoes here are of the sewn, not glued variety. They are wardrobe investments that can be rebuilt several times over their lifetime. They are not inexpensive - $300-400 a pair is a fair ballpark. However, they run good sales several times a year that take $50-100 off those numbers, and the product is a significant step up from average. In addition, there is a limited selection of menswear - jackets, shirts, belts, accessories, leather goods. Some of these are offered in partnership with other well known labels such as Schott and William Wilson. My experience with the store was excellent. I had ordered a pair of boots online, before I realized there was now a retail location in town. They arrived, and appeared to be a previous return that had been accidentally re-shipped - they had obvious flaws. While looking up the return process online, I found the shop on President St. So, I took my boots there for their advice. Anup, the manager of the store, provided some of the best customer service I've had in recent memory. He cheerfully handled the exchange, the return shipping, and placed the replacement order while I browsed the rest of the store. He even took the time to verify my measurements and suggested a slight size adjustment, which worked out perfectly. It was also obvious that he was very enthusiastic about his business and product. So if you're looking for your first pair of genuinely good shoes, I can highly recommend Allen Edmonds. They provide excellent service, quality goods, and a reasonable price.

That being said, I now have a pair of Italian merino flannel trousers that fit like a glove and are phenomenally comfortable and sharp-looking. If I could afford to drop 1,200 on a blazer, maybe I could appreciate it more. Brimble & Clark was not my first bespoke suit experience, but it has been by far my best. Either the suits looked flat on me, were of a material that made me sweat instantly, or simply didn't stand out. In comes Brimble and Clark. These are custom pieces of art that will be unlike any other piece in your wardrobe. They accentuate everything you want accentuated better than I have ever experienced, they feel tough but impossibly light, and every little detail just sings in a chorus of perfection. Sim couldn't be more professional and fun to work with throughout the process, and all his wardrobe recommendations that come up in conversation seem to only amplify the master of his craft. Between the garments, Sim's guidance, and all of his extra fashion advice I can't find a better suiting solution than Brimble and Clark. I can't rave enough about my experience at Brimble and Clark, and I know I'll be saving up for more garments in the future.

I found my dream dress, but it had stains on the shoulder. I ask for a possible discount and I was told no but I can tell you how to get that stain out. Are you kidding me? I had to dig through so many racks, that weren't even my size to find this dress and this is the response that I get. The service at checkout also horrendous. I walk up to the cashier. She says absolutely nothing I pay and she just folds up the garment and puts it in front of me with the receipt on top. I had to ask for a bag and she rolled her eyes and charged me the five cents for the back put the garment in the bag and just gave it to me no thank you nothing. I am never going back to this location. I feel like I go back once a year and I realize why I hadn't gone in so long.
