The food here is good which is why I am giving it 3 stars. I much rather give the place 2.5 stars. The service was not good at all. Even though I look at both food quality and service equally, if I feel either is bad quality I tend to not want to return to a place. I ordered an entree and the hummus appetizer. They gave a pretty minuscule portion of bread with the hummus which I ate and had a lot of hummus left over. They asked if I wanted more bread which I said I would and they told me it was a small upcharge which I agreed to pay. However, the bread never came and when I asked for it they started to seem almost annoyed that I kept inquiring. It was literally almost 45 minutes and I told them not to charge me and just remove it from my bill. I already ended up eating the rest of the hummus with a spoon. I mean how damn long does it really have to take to get some bread and maybe they could actually just give you two pieces of pita rather than one to begin with?? I don't believe this was homemade pita bread, but just pita right out of a package. I don't know what it is, but I get very aggravated when I ask for something and it doesn't arrive and I have to keep asking. Literally, a guy brought it out right after I finished my meal almost 45 min later and I told him I already canceled the order for the bread and didn't want it anymore. I felt overall the people at the bar seemed very busy and I mostly felt like I was wasting their time and I didn't feel like they were too friendly to me. With rising inflation and the cost of living, I just cannot spend big money at places where I don't feel too welcome. Might as well just go to a dive bar. I will say the place has a nice ambiance and a big wine selection. The food is a decent quality. So, if you are on a date, like wine, and want decent food and don't mind poor service then maybe my criticism won't be an issue for you. read more

Last night I celebrated a friend's birthday at Sixty Vines, and we had such a great time! First, parking was surprisingly easy. There was street parking available, a few paid lots nearby, a larger lot across the street, and a parking garage attached to the shopping center. The garage was around $15, but if you're lucky enough to grab a street spot, you can park for up to two hours. No complaints there. The restaurant itself is absolutely gorgeous. The live greenery on the walls gives the whole space such a fresh, upscale vibe without feeling stuffy. We were seated in a cozy little nook on the main dining floor, which was perfect for our group. Now let's talk about the food because... wow. We ordered a little bit of everything. There were shrimp dishes, chicken, steak frites, champagne, cocktails, and my frosé was delicious. The absolute star of the night was the caviar fried chicken. Listen... order it. Don't ask questions. Just order it. It was hands down my favorite thing on the table. The only small miss was my steak frites. I ordered it medium, but it came out closer to medium well. It was still good, just not exactly how I wanted it. Our service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Overall, this was such a fun dinner. Great food, beautiful atmosphere, easy parking, and excellent service. I will definitely be back, and you already know I'll be ordering that caviar fried chicken again. Their selection of red wines is outstanding, smooth, bold, and incredibly flavorful. You can definitely tell they take their wine seriously here. If you're in the mood for something a little stronger, do not skip the Old Fashioned for Two. It's beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and has just the right amount of kick. It's the kind of cocktail that makes you want to slow down and savor every sip. Food-wise, I can't recommend the spicy sausage pizza enough. The crust is crisp, the cheese is gooey, and the sausage packs just the right amount of heat without overwhelming the dish. It's the perfect pairing with any of their reds. The atmosphere is chic but relaxed, and the service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. They did a great job serving our table of six. From her food/beverage recommendations to her hilarious wit and hospitality, I would give this place a 10/10. The food was next level amazing. Everything we ordered was light tears above our expectations and the wine (and espresso martinis) were icing on the cake. It's really frustrating to keep showing up for a specific drink and hearing "the machine is broken" every time. If the frozen espresso martini isn't actually available most days, they should either fix the issue, stop advertising it, or at least let customers know before ordering. Visited here with my family from out of town. It was centrally located, clean, and an overall attractive space/vibe. The food was good, not many unique items. The concept they offer regarding varying wine sizes for multiple tastings is fun. With the pairing of decent food and the wine sizes/offerings, I'd go back.
