My biggest complaint is the food and service; the beef was mostly burnt chunks, the sausage was bland, the tortillas were dry, and insisting that one person serve from two meat trays for 500+ people made it take forever. They had to start the program while half the people were still in line so that the schedule for the whole night wouldn't be thrown off. They even made a big deal about forming two lines and going down both sides of the table, but Chuck had to mete out the burnt beef, weird tortillas, and nameless sausage one person at a time. Then, after serving yourself beans, corn, and potatoes, the peach cobbler was pre-portioned in servings of about three tablespoons! And it was cold. Worst "Texas BBQ" I have ever had, even compared to other event centers. Staff came through while the kids were doing awards and took plates, even though some of them had barely started eating. Invoice issues, I have an accounting background and I kept noting that my invoices were increasing over time as if it was accumulating interest, then I noticed a "credit card fee" that kept fluxating and get this, it wasnt a third party charging the sketchy fee it was them manually editing the invoice. AND my payments were being made in cash so why was this fee on there in the first place? 4. They kept my deposit because they found a vape, and vaping is against their rules. When I asked for a picture they blocked me and then cashed my $1000 check. She must have skipped instructions on the lights because tragically they wouldn't turn on in the foyer during our presentation and we were stuck in the dark. I tired multiple light switches before realizing the lights simply were broken and the chandeliers were NOT turning on. This left all my guests in the dark and I was not happy. Additionally, the table cloths were as wrinkly as crinkled paper with company to mix matched chairs. Super classy... Overall, I do not recommend this venue for anyone is trying to plan a special event and especially not for couples to be wed. I would hate for them to have to deal the unprofessionalism on their special day.
