I rented the place for 150 guests but was told 2 months before my wedding when I sat down with one of the coordinators, that they could only seat 130 comfortably.... 2. They claim they are apart of the church and the renting of the venue supports their expenses HOWEVER I caught them lying about this multiple times and I have text proof of them attempting to change my chairs and back ground becuase they "belonged to the church which was completely seperate from the venue" but when I first toured the sales pitch was that the espenses help the church and mission expenses?? 3. Invoice issues, I have an accounting background and I kept noting that my invoices were increasing over time as if it was accumulating interest, then I noticed a "credit card fee" that kept fluxating and get this, it wasnt a third party charging the sketchy fee it was them manually editing the invoice. AND my payments were being made in cash so why was this fee on there in the first place? 4. They kept my deposit because they found a vape, and vaping is against their rules. When I asked for a picture they blocked me and then cashed my $1000 check. Oh and they tried using my wedding as content and they blocked me on social media as well LOL TRASH PEOPLE TO DO BUSINESS WITH. NOT TO MENTION THE CLEANLINESS OF THIS PLACE, TOILETS NOT WORKING, OVERGFLOWING TRASH CANS, SMALL PARKING LOT ( ANOTHER THING WE WERE LIED TO ABOUT, THEY TOLD US BY THE TIME WE HAD OUR WEDDING THE PARKING LOT WOULD BE EXTENDED, THAT WAS A LIE) THE HORRIBLE HVAC SYSTEM THEY HAVE, THE CLUELESS OWNER AND STAFF MEMBER THAT WAS LEFT AS A VENUE COORDINATOR COULD NOT EVEN PULL BACK BLINDS, SECURITY HAD TO HELP CAUSING ME TO GO DOWN THE ISLE AT THE WRONG TIME. We arrived on the day of the event for set up, where we were greeted by a worker who quickly ran through how to set up the air conditioning. She must have skipped instructions on the lights because tragically they wouldn't turn on in the foyer during our presentation and we were stuck in the dark. I tired multiple light switches before realizing the lights simply were broken and the chandeliers were NOT turning on. This left all my guests in the dark and I was not happy. Additionally, the table cloths were as wrinkly as crinkled paper with company to mix matched chairs. Super classy... Overall, I do not recommend this venue for anyone is trying to plan a special event and especially not for couples to be wed. I would hate for them to have to deal the unprofessionalism on their special day.

This place is a little hard to find. But plenty of parking space!! It's decorated so nice and it's SO clean. To tell the truth, I was surprised certain wedding attendees made it on time since it's so secluded. Lol. My cousin and his long time significant other finally recently got married here. It was perfect for their laidback lifestyles. The bride's mother - who is a friend of mine - and their family all enjoyed planning their event and working with the employees here. The ceremony took place outside at the gazebo. Guests found their seats on wooden benches. Soon after, the party started in the barn a short walk away... a few chandeliers, rustic interior, and beautiful decorations adorned the space. The restrooms were always very clean and tidy. The bartenders, provided by Horseshoe, were friendly and quick. Security was also provided by Horseshoe, but I was a bit taken aback by uniformed sheriff deputies. The décor, aesthetic, and layout made for a beautiful backdrop for my daughter's wedding reception, and the day-of staff were kind, apologetic, and genuinely tried to address issues as they came up. That part of the experience was appreciated. However, the coordination leading up to and during the event was deeply disappointing -- especially for such a significant occasion. The cocktail hour was scheduled to begin at 2:30, but the setup team had it listed as 3:15, creating immediate confusion. When cocktail hour did start on time, we waited for appetizers we were told wouldn't arrive until 3:00 -- and they didn't actually show up until 3:30, leaving only 15-20 minutes before the hour ended. The bar situation was equally frustrating. I had paid for 200 beers to be available during the cocktail hour, which flowed into the reception. However, once those ran out, I was told there would be no additional beer available -- despite having specifically arranged for a cash bar with four beer options to continue through the reception. At that point, staff said they would have to try to source beer from the neighboring restaurant. That is not something guests should ever hear at a paid, planned event. Dinner brought another surprise: the tortillas provided by the neighboring restaurant were frozen, causing a 10-15 minute delay for fresh ones to be prepared. Dinner gets 5/10. Most of these issues trace back to communication problems with our coordinator, Rose. There were multiple instances where I requested information and received no response -- yet when payment was due, I received an invoice and a call at 3:30 PM demanding payment by 5:00 PM the same day. The venue has real potential and the space is genuinely lovely. But coordination and follow-through need significant improvement before I could recommend it without reservation for a major event.

The menu has been thoughtfully upgraded, offering creative twists on familiar favorites while still honoring the classics members expect. Even more noteworthy is the expanded selection of vegetarian appetizers and entrées--options that are flavorful, well-composed, and clearly designed with care rather than as an afterthought. The service matched the quality of the food. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to be there, which added to the overall experience. It was, without question, the best evening meal we've had at the Club in the past ten years. A final highlight was the live music, which began early in the evening rather than the typical 9 p.m. start seen at many other restaurants. This made it easy to enjoy great music alongside dinner, enhancing the atmosphere without overwhelming the conversation. All together, the evening felt refreshed, relaxed, and memorable--a wonderful step forward for the Texas Tech Club.!-)
