We purchased 130.00 in stainless hardware. Needed to exchange for different size. We purchase damn near weekly and rarely get out for under $100.00. Clearly stainless carriage bolts are not an everyday item and hardly perishable. So instead of exchange they said "sorry can't look it up (whatever that means". I even provided the SKU -and price. Went in for anniversary sale, various items were not discounted when I went to check out and cashier acknowledged it. I then nicely asked for a refund if the merchandise was not on sale and got a major attitude from the cashier? she could have approached the situtation with "oh I'm sorry for the inconvenience, would you like to wait a bit and I can check with my manager etc "? nope .... she couldn't be bothered. i h50ve been customer for 17 yrs. been on budget payment the entire time. paying 225 a month. 2 wks ago the delivery guy showed up and said, he had to be paid cash for the delivery. shocked, i called the office while he stood there. bookkeeper said, you owe $3000 or we cant deliver. i said, what the hell. no one told me i owe $3000. how the hell could that be. well, you missed 2 payments so we need all fuel paid for. i paid her the $3000 on cr card to wit- she charged me $3960 when my bill came. i also paid $200 budget payment and additional $500 on dec 5. a total of 4750. for my one months fuel bill. omg, how many people can pay this or do they just let them freeze. thank god, i had the money. so i said put it on card each month, no she said cant do that. then i asked, what is my budget payment then. she would not tell me. except that i needed to reapply for the budgt payments, i said after paying you for 17 yrs i need to reapply, are yu kidding me? so i waited for the application. 3 wks later none. so i called and spoke to the ceo. stating customer relations. did they not want my business after 17 yrs. he said he would get to the bottom. i advised him i had not received a bill for over 3 yrs. she said we mail to other home in maui. we sold it 3 yrs ago. still no billing. so i asked, how much have i used this year, what is new payment, what is new amount of propane per gallon. no answer. i was told by the ceo, ryan ?? that he would get bac to me. not happened. today is 12/14, my birthday, i got a bill from november, it stated i owe an additional 553. to catch up. still no answers for the other questions. i am a wealthy woman. very i pay my bills. i advised ryan that this was very embrassing to have my delivery guy say he needed cash when i live in a 2 mill house. duh? i still dont know what i am paying for and ryan did not get bac to me as stated. guess they dont appreciate my money. do normal people have this kind of money. why wasnt i told about increase before the bill was 4600. this is not in my budget is it in yours. hope not, you might freeze for it. c. sorsdahl read more

I really want to give four stars, but . . . Staff are really friendly but seem to hang out at the registers even when there are no customers to check out. Store is large with plenty of selection. Expanded product offerings in the last year make it even better. But if I have a question, it would be nice for people to be available all over the store and not just at the check out. read more

I have resisted for the past two years before I decided I could no longer wait for things to change. As I really wanted to leave a better review then I'm about to post. I have given the propane department enough time to get their stupid crap together. We bought our home in 2005 and have only had Skagit farmers supply provide our propane delivery. We have never had any issues with our delivery or the consistency of said delivery up until the old driver retired. We have now had to resort to policing our own tank for fear of running out of propane. The first time is one thing the second time our fireplace had to be checked and repaired at a cost that we should NEVER had to expend. This is our only source of hot water, cooking, and heat. We have pleaded asked and now screamed that they need to deliver EVERY 6 WEEKS. Clearly Skagit farmers propane people are completely in capable of counting that high or they just don't give a shit either way I have lost all faith and patience with this company. The last time I was beyond mad now I'm absolutely outraged and pissed. Apart from the fact that we spend over $3000 for the propane service a year one would expect that we would not have to babysit them as well. Since there are several propane companies in the area I will be posting on next door for references of a better provider. I have had enough three calls in 5 months plus we have run out twice....nope I'm calling BS on Skagit farmers supply but the managers excuse today was the same sad pathetic excuse of our old driver retired .....how many years ago ? Clearly hiring someone to do their job is out of the realm of possibilities or expectation. So honestly just how hard is the damn job to explain to your new driver to show the hell up every 6 weeks and since I have seen his sorry butt driving past our corner some 3 times a week it can't be that damn difficult . Get it together this week or the $3000 a year goes to another company. Their selection of work boots is great and they keep enough stock available that we've always been able to find the sizes we need. The customer service people were also very helpful when we needed a specific type of boot. Gardening supplies are always good quality and well priced. read more
