However, when I arrived for the first day, they just told me to go on the rink and practice by myself for 30 minutes before the lesson. What am I suppose to practice???? A worker did try to help me for a little bit which I appreciate, but still I was just left on the ice alone afterwards. I can fall on ice outside for free, I didn't need to pay $160 for this. There's no refunds so love that for us. Imagine you sign up for piano lessons and you don't know how to read music or have any prior musical knowledge. And when you show up for class for the first time, they put you in an empty room with a piano and music sheet and tell you to practice. Like what tf are you practicing LMAO

The staff was very kind and shared excitement with me that my daughter's birthday was approaching in a few weeks. This can definitely become a regular family adventure despite it being about 20 miles from home. And it's affordable!

The LearnToSkate program is from 9:15-11:15, which overlaps with Adult Skate from 10:00-11:15. Peter tried to make me to pay twice for the Adult Skate program even though I was already enrolled in a program that included that session. He loudly accused me in front of the entire rink multiple times for not registering, even though I had. Then, when I asked a clarification question about skating policy, he laughed at me and was extremely condescending. I felt like I was being targeted because I was a minority there. During my experience with him, instead of being patient and understanding, he was confrontational and extremely unprofessional, purposefully trying to publicly humiliate those unfamiliar with rink policies. I am very disappointed about my experience and hope I never have a run-in like that again. The rest of the staff is great, however, and helped resolve the issue right away.

It's very out of the way from College Hill. I decided to take Lyft to and from here, which was admittedly quite inconvenient. They did play good music! We were lucky enough to get second row seats but part of being so far forward was the disadvantage of an obstructed view of some of the far-side of the rink. It would be nice if they got a Jumbotron so you could see instant replays of the goals. Overall, pretty solid rink for a small school. I guess I am used to bigger stadiums such as Michigan Yost arena.

My kids grew up skating here, and I'm sure my grandkids will too. This is a state-of-the-art facility. Anyone bashing this place either hasn't been to many other rinks or doesn't realize how good we have it. InterSkate 91 stands above the rest. The prices are fair. Running a facility like this isn't cheap. Just my home's electric bill is around $500 a month--I can't imagine what it costs to keep a rink like this running. On top of that, they have to pay employees and maintain the building, all while giving local kids a safe, fun place to spend their time. So kudos to InterSkate 91 for continuing to invest in our community and giving generations of kids a great place to skate and make memories.
