OMG this place was really nice. We had a ball. There were several skate troops there and one guy even came and helped us skate better. .

We were disappointed the snack bar wasn't open but enjoyed watching the skaters!!! All the employees were pleasant and professional. The music could have been a little better. The kind of spot that feels like generations of birthdays, linkups, and random Friday nights have happened under the same roof. Nothing too polished. Nothing trying too hard. Just a solid rink doing what it came to do. The concession stand understood the assignment. The Icees hit exactly the way rink Icees are supposed to hit. Cold. Sugary. Slightly dangerous if you drink it too fast. The chicken tenders were good too. Crispy enough. Salty enough. No fake gourmet remix. Just classic snack bar food that actually satisfies when you need a break from skating and people-watching. Staff was amazing. Friendly from the jump. Easy to deal with. Kept the place moving without making it feel stiff. That kind of energy matters in a rink because one weird employee can throw off the whole night. Not the case here. The bathroom was clean, which already deserves applause in any skating rink conversation. The floor was decent too. Enough room to move. Enough space to breathe. The whole place felt functional in the way a classic spot should. it's giving... ATL legend with a concession stand co-sign.

I can't begin to describe the fun time I had at this skating rink!…read more I am an 80's baby and recall being dropped off on the weekend at the skating rink as a child! The good old days for sure !! I said this to say that I have always enjoyed skating! Am I a pro- nope - but I still know how to have a good time on the rink! I arrived at the rink 30 minutes prior to them closing for an hour. On Sunday they allow all ages to skate until 6pm. They close and re- open for adult night at 7pm. The price does go up. It costs $15 per person to skate plus the cost to rent skates if you do not own a pair is $6! Now some may say this is expensive . However, if you look at how much you pay for let's say a yoga class - it's comparable. . I say that because you can and will burn calories if you are actually skating! Just look at it like a fun fitness class ! The vibe for the night started off with old school songs being played! When I say old school- I mean songs I did not know! However, as the night progressed the DJ started playing songs I knew. Still not current, but at least songs I know. There appears to be a strategy to the rink. If you know what you are doing you can be in the outside of tink. If you are new to this and may not be a comfortable skater you need to be inside the pink lines. Then the inner circle appears to be for those that are dancing on skates. This is just my observation and I could be completely wrong! All of the patrons were friendly and it felt like a no judgement zone! Everyone was just having a good time! I think we left around 9:30pm and the place was packed!! I did note that they have a bar inside and a small arcade area. This spot would make for a good date night ! I will say that it is giving old school as it relates to the look on this inside ! However, that's what I loved about it! It felt like I was a teenager again! Highly recommend checking out this rink! -- guaranteed good times!

I was very disappointed with our recent experience at Sparkles Family Fun Center…read more We visited for a friend's birthday and spent money on admission, skating, and food purchases while we were there. The facility was nearly empty, and we were using a regular public table--not a party room or any reserved birthday area. Before arriving, we were told that placing a simple plastic tablecloth on a table so our group could identify where to sit would be allowed. However, after we arrived, management approached us and told us we could not do so. The issue itself was minor, but the way it was handled was unnecessarily rude and confrontational. We did not bring in outside food, did not use a party room, and were not attempting to avoid paying for a birthday package. We simply wanted a place for our group to sit together while supporting the business through admissions, skating fees, and food purchases. The staff members we encountered were generally pleasant, but the manager's behavior left several people feeling embarrassed and unwelcome. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location for a family gathering or birthday celebration. I hope management will consider treating guests with more courtesy and consistency in the future.

It has a good mix of attractions including multi-level go-kart tracks (one of the main highlights), roller coasters, thrill rides like drop towers and spinning rides, bumper cars, kiddie rides, and arcade-style games. The go-karts are definitely the standout and what the park is best known for. Pricing is much more budget-friendly than big parks. Most visitors can expect either free admission with pay-per-ride options or wristbands that typically range around $50-$80 per person depending on location, day, and promotions. This makes it a cheaper alternative if you want rides without spending theme park-level money. Food and drinks inside are on the higher side, but still fairly standard for an amusement park. Wait times are generally shorter than major parks. On average, most rides are about 5-20 minutes, even during busier times. The most popular attractions like go-karts or certain thrill rides can reach 20-40 minutes during peak hours, but lines still move fairly consistently compared to larger parks where waits can be much longer. Staff were friendly and kept things moving efficiently at ride entrances, and the park overall felt easy to navigate. Parking was also simple and convenient depending on the location. Overall, Fun Spot is a good option if you want a casual amusement park experience with fun rides, shorter wait times, and more affordable pricing without the intensity of bigger theme parks.

It's so absurd that this park has ArieForce One. It's like a 95 year old having a Ferrari…read more This Fun Spot is out in the boonies at the edge of the Atlanta metro area and lacks the happening vibes of the two Florida Fun Spots. Granted it was noonish when I was there but it was Saturday and the place was a ghost town. The layout is pretty odd as well. There's a secondary overflow parking lot on the midway next to a big stockade looking building and other old timey looking facades but most of it looks like a county fair or a family fun center like Barrymore's back home. I got my wristband to ride as much as I wanted for the day, even knowing I had to make it to Cape Canaveral by the end of the night and couldn't spend anything close to a full day here. I made a beeline for the fabled star attraction, ArieForce One. It looks great and a mere station wait was a welcome sight. The first 90% of ArieForce One completely lived up to the hype with an incredible mix of airtime hills, inversions and overbanked turns coming at a breakneck pace. Nothing was breaking my neck though, or causing the slightest bit of discomfort. Then came the series of bunny hills at the end with their violent ejector air. Absolutely killed my thighs whether I was in the front or the rear of the train. Felt like my thighs were getting jackhammered. Now I've ridden several coasters built by Rocky Mountain Construction, the manufacturer of ArieForce One. Iron Gwazi, Steel Vengeance, Twisted Cyclone and Goliath in addition to the one I'm talking about. All had the lapbars with the shin guards that let you go upside down without over the shoulder restraints. I've never had an issue with these RMC restraints on any of their other coasters that I've ridden. I thought I'd ride ArieForce One a dozen times or so. After one ride I went to ride a go kart track. It was okay nothing special. Came back for a second lap on ArieForce One. Once again I needed a break from it after that. I rode the park's other coasters, an unremarkable wild mouse called Hurricane. Hit the bathroom and took pictures of weird murals on the walls by video games and the food court. Came back for a third lap on ArieForce One. Once again it was exhilarating, exhilarating, more exhilarating then excruciating. I know a lot of coaster freaks are over the moon about ArieForce One - about the only other people riding it were maniacal masochists who were walking roller coaster encyclopedias. And I wouldn't mind working my way up to being a walking roller coaster encyclopedia but to be that I need to be able to walk. Love everything about ArieForce One until those bruising bunny hills at the finale. To me that ride is unmarathonable. Fortunately I did need to make good time on the road and I had lots of other fun things planned on this trip and I knew I would be spending a pretty penny so I didn't much mind the cash I sunk into that wristband. This Fun Spot is just so odd and its marquee attraction has a fatal flaw but I'll still give the place three stars. Here's to knowing when to say when.
