A very well maintained, super cute farm. Well staffed and friendly service. My hubby and I opted for pre-picked strawberries. Very pristine looking, juicy but not overly sweet. But that is ok, I usually add a little sugar to my strawberries to bring out the juice in them. They have two stores connected with fruits, veggies, snacks, baked goods, fudge and gifts. The donuts are yummy! I bought some cute home decor. I think the prices are reasonable and I love that we still have farms like this to get fresh produce at. Support local!! read more

I went here on a weekday in October and the place was almost empty except for a handful of adults exploring the gift shop and pumpkin patch. It was great because I was able to play on the playground and with the ducks as much as I wanted without any kids around. Us adults like to have fun too! Always wanted to get fresh strawberries and Skelly's is definitely the place to do it. Its a bit of drive from Chicago, but it is worth the trip. It's strawberry season and they have the option to have pre picked strawberries or you can go in the fields and pick them yourself. Strawberries are by the pint at $6.50, but they are fresh and taste so much better than the one at the groceries stores. They also have a bakery with fresh donuts and turnovers. Super fast service and friendly when asking for suggestion. It is your typical farm market, but very peaceful and plenty of shade and seating to enjoy your strawberries and baked goods. They even have a playground for kids to keep them entertained. It appears they have other programs all year around. Will definitely come back during the fall! My husband and I had a wonderful adventure walking the corn maze here. The employees are very friendly. The baked items are very fresh and tasty. There were a lot of cute gifts in the store including home decor, jams, maple syrup and other local foods. There are two different corn mazes. Maps of the mazes are provided, as well as QR codes for GPS maps. With a Smart Phone, a person can play a timed, interactive game, finding items along the maze, acquiring points for the items. This was a really fun "date day" for me and my man. We also had one of the fresh pumpkin donuts and a beverage from the store. They were very tasty and sweet. read more

Yesterday my daughter's family and myself went out to Skellys to pick strawberries the people there were very helpful and we filled up 2 buckets quickly. Afterwards we went inside and had some delicious strawberry and Apple donuts and also a couple of cookies. My daughter saw a couple of items she would like for Christmas so I had the woman to hide them behind the counter and said that I would be back get them today. Of course I forgot and gave them a call and they were really nice about me picking them up tomorrow. Need a place to stretch your legs? You've found it. This place was a few minutes off the highway but it was worth the drive to visit. They have perfectly freshly apple cider donuts, strawberry donuts and raspberry donuts along with a mixture of different turnovers. Their donuts texture is not dense or dry, and really goes great with a fresh cup of coffee. Their produce are fresh. The tomatoes were sweet and delicious while the corn is huge and freshly picked. Head to their website for a good read about the history of their corn and corn in general. They have many outdoor picnic benches or patio seating where you can enjoy their coffee and donuts. The area is very clean and they often clean each table after use. Kids simply love exploring and playing outside. There is a huge playground with big, creative and unique climbing wooden structures for kid to play, slide and explore. Families should come visit, unwind, stock up on produce and spend time here together. They also have a good selection on decoration items for the garden and home. I love coming here every year for strawberry picking. The place has nice country vibes and offers a lot of different fruit products. The staff are very friendly too. My main gripe is with the pricing of their (delicious) donuts. We paid $7.50 for 5 donuts when it costs $6.50 to buy a half dozen - it feels like we're being punished for trying to cut down on sugar haha. read more

We have been to Skellys 2x now. Once last year in the fall and did the corn maze and just this last weekend and did the sunflower fields. We loved all the photo stops in the sunflower field with phone props so you can get a great family pic! As a mom, I appreciate this place so so much. My little one loves to grab a donut before heading to the massive okay area. They have tons of things for the kiddos to play on, climb on, and slide down. The thing that I love most is that everything is made out of wood. So, on hot summer days, my girl can still play without being burned on the equipment! They offer drinks, ice cream, donuts, and freshly picked veggies and fruit. I just wish their menu included something a little more healthy and I wish they offered iced coffee! All in all, this is a cute place that the kids just love! read more

My husband and I joined the behind the scenes farm tour on 6/3. It was fascinating and Scott Skelly a patient and gracious host. we got to see all of the growing areas and ask endless questions. To really have a bit of an understanding about where our food comes from, the incredibly hard work involved and gain a real appreciation for our WI farmers, I highly recommend the tour. I'd give it 5stars if it wasn't for the older short hair lady there sheesh is she something!! Wasn't just rude to my family when we tried asking for information on the place but while there an item inside the store fell and boy was she rude to the lady who was closest to the shelf the item fell off of.the women shopping did not knock it down she merely picked it off the floor when the wind came in and blew it off the shelf that's right next to a big ole open door . Scared the shopper right out I bought our fruits n veggies some really good pastries and left!! Everyone but that elderly woman is very friendly and helpful!!! My first trip to a pumpkin patch with a child in tow really made me appreciate it all the more. I'd been here pre-Yelp but without kids and enjoyed the donuts but this was the first time I got to enjoy the actual pumpkins through the eyes of a child. Needless to say he had a great time - at one point he was literally bouncing with joy. There are plenty of things for kids to do here - there are tricycles, a playground with forts and a pirate ship and several slides. The pumpkins were a reasonable price and very suitable for carving - and so many to choose from. Had a great time here with my little nephew! Lots of things to play on - geared a bit more to bigger kids than the little ones but he still had a good time, and so did we! His mom, uncle and I got to join in and ran around after him. We left with a couple pumpkins and some tasty apple cider donuts (unfortunately not hot though). A beautiful sunflower field, with multiple photo ops. For $10, you can walk through the large fields, cut your own sunflower and enjoy a delicious warm apple cider donut. It was lovely! read more
