Sandra was with another client so she was going to come get me but luckily I found it when she was opening the door. Her shop is a small room with 2 types of chairs for clients. Communication- after I had scheduled my appointment I received a text from her just letting me know a few things. She did ask to reschedule but then I didn't get a response back so I assumed we were still on for the original appointment. I got a confirmation of my appointment/reminder so I knew I was all set. AFTER- we were setting up my next appointment in which Sandra went over when she will may be busy so I was aware. Microneedling- I bought a Groupon deal for 3 microneedling sessions for $150. I got in the chair and she applied numbing creme (korean brand that I've used before) for an hour. She explained how it would hurt so I shouldn't think otherwise and went over specific areas that would hurt the most. Sandra asked how hard she was to apply. Overall I have a pretty good pain tolerance (had my eyebrows done with the numbing cream not working) but I asked her to go softly just in case. She ended up going medium pressure because I wasn't flinching (I thought she was testing and didn't realize she started) but explained i would be bruised because of my skin tone. The whole appointment lasted about 1hr and 45 minutes with numbing and the actual microneedling. Afterwards she applied some coconut oil and 100% zinc to my face. She gave me some zinc to use as its 100% SPF which I didn't know. Overall- definitely hectic but both cases not on Sandra's part but on other customers who ran late or missed notifications. Sandra has plenty of knowledge and she was a very "go with the flow" type of person. My skin looks exactly how I would expect it and I cant wait to take a picture to see if there's a difference.

But she was trying to sell me on all of this. The red flags just kept coming up. I asked her for a print out of the quote and she said no, she couldn't give me one. WHAT? I have gotten higher quotes before at other spas, dentists, surgery places, etc. So being denied a print out of the quote is highly suspicious. I did take a picture of it tho. Please take a look of everything I was being sold. All I wanted was a peel. Lol. What a joke and waste of my time. MOST REPUTABLE SPAS AND CLINICS PROVIDE A WRITTEN QUOTE FOR TRANSPARENCY. A few possible reasons why they may have denied it. They want you to feel pressured to book on the spot. They may change pricing depending on the client, the consultant, or how much they think you'll spend. Not giving a printout makes it easier for them to adjust prices later without proof. If the consultant works on commission, keeping everything verbal lets them control the conversation and steer you into upgrades without accountability. & a written quote creates a paper trail. If they later tried to charge more or swap treatments, you'd have proof. Denying it keeps them in control. Trustworthy businesses want you to have everything clear in writing. Not here. As soon as this lady realized I wasn't booking her whole demeanor changed. Instantly. This place is all about sales and commission, not actual skin care. Owner/Manager: Do not message me about this! I don't care to go back or be given an explanation. I am trying to save others from your inflated prices and sales tactics.

I had the lip blush treatment with Jen & wow what a difference it has made. Jen perfected the colour for me so as it is a natural but noticeable difference as I had lost pigmentation in parts of my lips so this created a perfect lip shape.
