On my most recent visit, I came in as a walk-in right when they opened, expecting the wait to be minimal. However, both employees were already with clients, so I waited. After I'd been sitting there for quite a while, another customer came in and asked how much longer it would be. The employees told her it would be about 10 more minutes and even acknowledged that I was next. About 10 minutes later, one of the employees finished with her client. Instead of calling me over, the woman who had arrived after me walked over, said, "I'm just going to go now. I'm in a hurry" and took the chair. The owner allowed it without saying anything to me or acknowledging that I'd already been waiting for over 35 minutes. What frustrated me most wasn't the wait itself--it was the complete disregard for my time. If there had been an explanation or even an apology, I would have understood. Instead, they knowingly let another customer skip ahead despite telling her that I was next. I left feeling disrespected and disappointed. It's unfortunate because the quality of their work has always been good, but after this experience, I won't be returning.

BRENDA is fantastic, and RACHEL at the front desk is consistently warm, professional, and helpful. I've genuinely grown to appreciate this location, which is why today's experience was so disappointing. Brenda wasn't available, so I booked with the first available stylist, BREANNA Unfortunately, from the beginning, the interaction felt unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional. Breanna was slightly late for my appointment and immediately began criticizing the condition of my natural lashes and telling me what she thought I should be doing differently in relation to the extensions. I explained that I have been wearing lash extensions for more than 10 years, use a lash-support serum, and know the style and look that works for me. I certainly welcome professional recommendations, but I expect them to be communicated respectfully. During the appointment, she repeatedly complained about my eye twitching, even after I explained that it is involuntary and unfortunately not something I can control. While removing an extension, I felt a sharp clip/pinch to my eyelid and told her that she had hurt me. Rather than simply stopping and checking my eye, she disputed what I had experienced and attributed the pain to my twitching and a natural lash being pulled with the extension. At that point, the overall tone of the appointment had become so uncomfortable that I finally said, "You don't seem to want to do my lashes, so let's reschedule." She immediately agreed. What concerned me most was what happened afterward. Instead of allowing the interaction to end professionally, Breanna continued speaking to me in an argumentative and disrespectful manner and followed me toward the front desk. I finally had to tell her that the conversation was over and that I was no longer interested in discussing it with her which she then proceeded to tell me she was going to call the owner. I sincerely hope she was honest in explaining her unacceptable , rude and dismissive behavior to a client who could go anywhere else but loves this Lash Lounge. I have had too many positive experiences at The Lash Lounge to judge the entire salon based on one employee, and I will absolutely continue seeing Brenda. But I do believe management needs to address this employee and experience seriously. Clients should be able to disagree with a stylist, have an involuntary eye twitch, or request a particular lash style without being made to feel criticized or unwelcome. There is a big difference between offering professional advice and speaking down to a client. Today I left without having my lashes completed and feeling genuinely disappointed by how I was treated. I hope management takes this feedback seriously because, in my experience, this behavior is not representative of the otherwise excellent service I have received at this location. I would like to continue my membership and sincerely hope this will be addressed so it doesn't leave a negative mark on this otherwise wonderful Salon.

Alright I know I have posted on my FB, instagram, going to be going on my website, but I can't tell you enough how awesome Kimberly is and her business. She has an amazing staff and I was greeted by a very pleasant and nice receptionist. I didn't have to wait long for Kimberly to come out and get me. Also when I scheduled my appointment I was able to get in - in 3 business days (that's awesome all by itself). Okay so once I got in Kimberly's office today, she went over everything in detail and answered all my questions. Also I was a little nervous / anxious about the procedure, but Kimberly made me feel at ease with everything by talking me through everything. She has very, VERY reasonable rates, because I saw people out there charging over $800 for this procedure and honestly anyone can afford to get this done if you really want it! The procedure didn't take long and it was pretty much painless. I know it's a tattoo but it's not like the pain you'd feel getting a normal tattoo. Plus the numbing stuff she puts on kicks in super fast; I almost feel asleep with the soothing music and not really feeling much while she was designing and filling in my brows. She was on top of everything and let me have the final say on my brows. She didn't just tattoo them on and not let you check them out to see if anything was off and if there was something a little off she went back to work to correct it. Plus I got to see every time we would review them to see if I was happy with the results. I really appreciated that and that made sure my opinion counted too. She makes sure your brows look amazing and delivers what you want. Kimberly also offers more then just permanent makeup too. They have lash extensions, tattoo removal, and more! Check her out! I definitely will be going back to her! Also communication with Kimberly was super easy. She calls you back when she states she's going to and was very prompt on getting back to me even though she was very busy that day with clients. She answered all correspondences within a short period of time. I also love that she actually cares about her clients and it definitely shows. Kimberly is a true genuine person with a heart of gold for her clients! If you are considering anyone else; I'd just stop looking or debating and just go with Kimberly - You can't go wrong with any of her procedures. I just know if she was able to do my brows that well - lips, eyeliner and beauty marks will be easy as pie for her. I'm Asian and my brows aren't that easy - I know! Thank you again Kimberly. PLEASE make sure if you are going to do permanent makeup - follow ALL of the before guidelines and after care. I SHOULD OF HAD THIS DONE YEARS AGO. It saves me so much time when I get up in the morning and not have to worry about applying makeup. I can shower, cry, workout, be in a hot and humid climate, sleep on the plane and look great. It was dark at first, but I found I really liked it that way, after 4 weeks I did not need a touch up. It looks so natural that my friends can't believe it. Now they want to have it done. Kim is a pro and she is so sweet. It did not hurt and she was very sensitive to my being as comfortable as possible through the procedure. The numbing cream she applied worked well and when I went home I was not in any pain. My eyes felt sore, but that is all. The next morning I looked in the mirror and said WOW, she put on the eyeliner better than I ever could. I have poor eyesight and I could never get my eyeliner as straight as she did. She spends a long time giving you exactly the style and color that is good for your look. She says the makeup lasts for about 3 years and I will return to her when that time comes. She has saved me so much time and money on makeup application. Now I can throw all of my eyeliners and brow pencils away. I am contemplating have my lips colored soon. She makes them look so natural and that is the look I want. read more

I had never considered getting permanent makeup before because honestly I had seen so many bad jobs in the past. Until my eyelashe lady told me about Kim. She told me she would never go to anyone but her. So after seeing some of her work and hearing such great things I couldn't get it out of my mind. So I went for it. I am a mom of 3 and one with special needs so I go out without makeup alot and I am was sick of looking. Like a dead mommy. I didn't know what to expect so I went less than what I would do with my normal makeup. I did my brows, lips a and eyeliner top and bottom. It is so amazing and fun. I wanted more so I went back for a more dramatic look and it is absolutely amazing! She matched my Chanel lip color absolutely spot on! I love always having a fresh done up look 24/7. Kim is a absolutely amazing person and is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She makes sure you are as pain free as possible and sometimes I couldn't even feel it! I went to Kimberly because she came highly recommended by several people I trust. I had text her and she responded immediately. I wanted to get my eyebrows done before I left for vacation. I was so happy she made room for me when she knew my plans. That being said, I have had my eyebrows done years before. The first time it was done by another woman in the same area. I had gone back to this woman and the second time the procedure was so aggressive, my brows were bleeding and my right brow was damaged for several years. I shared this with Kimberly and she was able to proceed after examining my skin for the presence of any scare tissue. As she was working on me, I was so relaxed. I told her "Kimberly this is like butterfly kisses". The process was such a major difference to what I had prior. I am so pleased with my eyebrows and it hasn't even been 24 hours yet. But the best part of all is when my husband told me how much he "loved" them. I have decided to get my eyeliner redone with Kimberly when I return from vacation. I am very pleased with the results of my eyebrows and eyeliner. It is amazing to me how easy it is to leave the house without having to put on all of my makeup and people remark how good my eyes look without knowing I have permanent makeup. Kimberly is a true professional. She took almost an hour with me working on the correct look for my eyebrows. They needed to be raised and shaped and they look amazing. While I was nervous about the actual tattooing process, Kimberly was gentle and explained the process along with numbing the sites to make the process painless. I did not have hardly any pain with the eyebrows. I did have a little pain with the eyeliner but Kimberly would stop and add more numbing agents before she continued. I would recommend Kimberly in a minute if you are considering eyebrow and eyeliner permanent makeup. Kimberly did an awesome job! After researching why other permanent makeup artists charged three times what Kimberly charges, I learned that it all has to do with their overhead. Kimberly keeps her low and passes the savings onto clients. She also has specials so check those out! Kimberly is a perfectionist and has a very steady hand. Eye had full face permanent makeup done and I've never had such perfect, straight-looking brows! She mixes her own pigments to the client's taste -- good in my case because I have fair skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. Brow Envy ... yes, that's what I had. Every time I'd see someone with eyebrows that weren't "painted on", I'd feel that twinge. I got tired of spending the time every day to draw on my brows, and then never being happy with the result, or realizing that one was a little longer (or shorter) than the other, or shaped differently. So, I called Kimberly. She is a super shining star. I didn't get someone else's eyebrows, I got the perfect shape, color and thickness for me, and now I have people complimenting ME on my eyebrows. I had Kimberly do permanent eyeliner. I wanted subtle and natural looking and that is exactly what I got. She went to great lengths to discuss and evaluate the look I wanted, custom mixed a color to enhance my eye color, and was very conscientious abut being sure you experienced minimal discomfort. 6 weeks later I am still amazed at the difference when I look in the mirror with no makeup on but when I mention I had it done people lean in 4" from my nose and say 'Really?' It looks so natural you can't tell until you get that close! I LOVE it! No more fussing with smudgy eyeliner, I don't even wear mascara on my lower lashes anymore. I had and excellent experience with Kimberly she did my under eyeliner about 2 years ago and I've had nothing but compliments I love how it turned out and how it has lasted so perfectly. I've had no loss of color. The process itself was so relaxing and clean compared to the first two applications by another person, the other person wasn't even able to get the color to stay longer then a week each time. Kimberly is amazing. She is a perfectionist who is meticulous about her work. She takes multiple before and after photos, takes measurements and welcomes client input and respects what she hears. She uses topical anesthetic that keeps her client comfortable. I regret not doing permanent makeup sooner. I used to spend time every morning putting on my eyebrows, eyeliner and lip color. We designed my brows together, the shape and the color, and she did not pressure me into anything I did not want. Kim was absolutely professional and nicer than I had expected. She worked very hard to get the colors just right I am a redhead and matching the makeup took a while to get it just right. When I returned to Deanna after my first microblading experience with her, I mentioned that I had found the process painful and was definitely dealing with some anxiety. I'm so thankful I told her because she immediately shared that she could do a nano brow treatment instead and that she has a special procedure to help with those of us who have a lower pain tolerance. WOW! What a difference! I was shocked at how relaxed I was and the minimal discomfort I felt during the process. I cannot emphasize enough how impressed and satisfied I am with every service and the exceptional results I achieve. Deanna takes the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, ensuring that I have a clear understanding of what to expect. Her expertise and attention to detail is fabulous. She genuinely cares about creating the perfect shape and shade for my eyebrows, considering my facial features and personal preferences. Her precision and steady hand is evident as she expertly crafts every hair-like stroke, resulting in beautifully natural-looking eyebrows that perfectly complement my face. Here's how I found her: I went searching on Instagram for Lip Blush in OC which came back with a lot of images. Then I went to ChatGPT and it pointed me to something that then led me to Modern Face Studio which I thought was ONLY an Alhambra location but was glad to discover she has a Mission Viejo/Lake Forest location! Then I went to look at her work thru her posts and, as expected, you'll get to see photos of newly done lips and they looked really natural and perfect color for the skin tone of each person. Next I needed to see if there were repeat customers so I went to her yelp for both locations and found people commenting they went back or couldn't trust anyone else. At this point I was sold to come develop a relationship with this studio and scheduled a lip blush straight away. I'm so glad I did. Tina is so warm and welcoming. She shares so much about the process with you which is clearly a sign of someone who has had a lot of people come thru and, to me, volume of customers = tons of experience! So the photos of her work looked good, she seemed really nice, but the icing on the cake was that as she's talking and touching things like a cabinet or a phone, she's changing out her gloves every single time. That level of awareness of how easily her hands can potentially carry germs to your face is commendable. Legit the kind of care I value and appreciate bc if she's THAT detail-oriented about germs on her gloves then she's most certainly detail-oriented about the work she's about to do - in my case, a lip blush. Super happy so far with the experience. She promised the lining part wouldn't hurt without numbing and she did not lie. She applies numbing for 20mins before she starts shading in your lips and throughout the process. I only felt it in the middle bottom lip once and she put numbing cream and I was back to not feeling a thing. I'm writing this only having had it done but so far I'm very happy with the overall experience and will post photos after it's fully healed. If you're considering her, just do it. She's clearly a professional who cares about making sure there's a sterile environment while also being kind and friendly.
