I have been coming to Jane for about a year now for regular facials, and I will continue coming for as long as I can! My skin is acne-prone and it's taken a period of time to figure out how best to build a routine that works for my skin, but with Jane's help my skin is in a healthy maintenance phase! I started off with a acne/skin consultation with Jane and this facial consisted of a cleanse, exfoliation, facial steam, extractions, light therapy, and other services based on your skin's needs. I had a lot of acne/congestion in my skin so it definitely was a little raw after my first facial, but as I've been a regular, my skin has adapted to and heals much better after the service. Jane's extraction technique is amazing and she spends the time looking at every single pore on your face and extracting which reduces the amount of acne breakouts that I get in between sessions. Jane also gives really helpful advice on what your skin concerns are and provides recommendations (products/lifestyle changes) that can help target those skin conditions. The best advice I could give as someone who has spent time and energy trying to build a routine is to go at it slow (don't change your routine too often and give your skin the time it needs to adjust) and maintain your expectations especially if you have combination skin like me. Jane works miracles but I have a feeling most of us writing reviews already know this. Janes heals your skin from the inside out which if you know anything about health, is the only way to go. I have had horrible acne my whole life and it got worse when I went off birth control as an adult. I started getting large cystic acne on my face and small bumps all over my forehead. Jane was so amazing and professional taking a look at my face, doing an extraction and telling me things about my face. My cystic acne was due to not enough fish oil, and my forehead bumps were a reaction to my shampoo. You might think that's crazy but she was right! I started taking fish oil everyday and I changed my shampoo to ones she recommended and my face looks so much better. I was really skeptical looking for a new aesthetician because I had already been with 2 prior to Jane. I suffer from cystic/hormonal acne which needs the right treatment and care. I'm not really a medication type of girl so I had high hopes for this visit due to the fact the prior visits weren't as beneficial. When I tell you Jane was giving me so many signs of concern, it showed me she was just as invested in my skin as I am. FYI. Every first extraction with a new esthetician is painful!! Jane is super clean and professional. I love how she doesn't talk much during the facial and she explains what she needs to. I had horrible reactions to past facials and treatments that left me with acne cysts that were huge and painful. Jane helped me out on that from the first appointment. She also guides you in what you should eat and what chemicals to avoid. I love her open mind on all natural products. I honestly love this place and Jane is an amazing facialist. She will cure your acne and help you find out the problems to your breakouts. If you have intensive acne shes the one to call. Her shop also includes laser hair removal and some body work. She just sometimes doesn't respond, busy or maybe stopping by the would be a good idea too. But honestly she's cured me and helps me maintain beautiful skin and I appreciate her so much for it. Her shop has great atmosphere and very nicely decorated. I did a check in at this place before but since I'm still new to this whole Yelp stuff I didn't know I couldn't leave a star review when checking in. I don't want to repeat myself again but I did want to provide the Vegas community with the information I could not leave behind the first time. This location is amazing and my experience with them was great! It has a very welcoming energy and relaxing beyond belief! I had said before that I work a lot and as a programmer I get some serious pains on the left side of my neck from sitting so much so I needed something to help this go away. Their skin care treatment was amazing and the session includes a massage that really relaxed my neck and took the stress and tightness away. I was able to get back to work the very same day and if I remember correctly I didn't care to stop working until very late in the morning. Great experience! I also picked up this all natural deodorant that was lavender scented and really nice. It has a slight gritty substance that melts right under your arms during application and for as sweaty as I can get when I work out and play sports I must say it definitely did its job! I put away all my other deodorants as I had heard they are supposedly blended too much with some sort of metallic chemical or something like that. I like using all natural skin care products and this place has a great selection of them. I recommend anyone to go and check them out. Jane is a total lifesaver! When I first visited her in November 2016, my skin was in terrible shape from years of dermatologist-recommended routines (i.e. retin-a & very harsh products) and over the counter products. I have super sensitive skin (diagnosed by Jane), which means these 'normal' routines are the exact opposite of what my skin needed ---hence the AWFUL breakouts, both in pain & in # of breakouts (upwards of 30 zits at one time). My girl and I have acne problems and we are really picky with it come to choosing an aesthetician, lucky we were referred to Jane by a friend and we are so happy with the results! Jane is very friendly and detailed oriented! She analyzes your skin and recommends what is the appropriate treatment for you. Jane is amazing! My first appointment with her was today, 5/25/17 @ 9am. She was on time and greeted me as soon as I walked in. She took the time to explain my skin type to me on an IPad and explained a detailed form of a diagram-that really helped me grasp her knowledge and my skin issues. She then spent time explaining to me what she believes is giving me breakouts and she was kind enough to take me into a calm, clean room to extract some of my clogged pores. I was impressed with this because I assumed my consultation was just going to be a discussion of what my skin seems to be reacting to. So Jane worked on my skin and I did the cleanse and repair. Honestly it was the most painful skin treatment I've endured as all she's doing is pressing down very hard on your skin with a vibrating metal tool to remove pimples and blackheads. I wouldn't even call it an extractor. Also, she took pics of my mole/blackhead which she is not a certified dermatolgist and didn't know what it was. She was supposed to send it to a doctor friend and respond with a result. Have not heard anything nor asked..it's been a month. I did walk away with a sample soap and mineral powder. I've gone to other skin care clinics In the past I have very problematic skin and deep deep pimples that scar if left untreated. This the best acne skin clinic I've ever been to. Jane doesn't try to sell you $500 after the treatment, she is affordable and I really appreciate that. My skin has never looked better and I've been seeing Jane only for 4 visits total! I saw results after the first visit. Her products are safe to use with Retin-A and I'm a huge fan of the face wash. Jane is gentle, kind, very pleasant, and I have learned a huge amount from her about skin. She doesn't just treat your skin she teaches you what you're doing wrong. I don't know where to even begin to explain how amazing Jane is! I have struggled with cystic acne for about 7 years now and nothing has ever seemed to help. I have went to the dermatologist, and spent an incredible amount of money on microdermabrasion treatments, facials, and laser treatments throughout the years and nothing seemed to work for me. I tried everything in the book to help me. My confidence was at an all time low and I began to lose all hope. I found Jane through yelp and decided to give her a try and it was the best decision I have ever made for my face. During our first visit, jane gave me a list of hair products, food, makeup, etc. that was safe to use for my face (no other person has done that for me) and introduced me to new products that I have fallen in love with. After that, we met once every month where she would do extractions and anything else necessary. I have recently started doing the Venus Viva and have the pictures of some of the before and afters posted below! I have been going to Jane for almost a year now and I couldn't be more grateful for her work. Everything takes time and patience but if you're willing to fix your acne without taking Accutane or using any harsh chemicals then I recommend going to her! Knowing I was new to facials and such she took advantage of me. She charged me $100 more for the same exact facial in a span of two weeks. Being a person that doesn't like confrontation I, like an idiot, paid and consulted with my sister after (an esthetician in another state unfortunately for me) who confirmed that this was wrong. I tried to contact her through phone and email and it's been a week without a response. I text her "coordinator" to cancel and got a response within a couple of hours confirming cancellation. I didn't even bother asking her anything. On top of that, the pimple popping was extremely painful and no results like in her pictures. And the second "facial" her salt machine was broken the entire time and she thought I wouldn't notice because I've never had facials like this before. She never even gave me any legit way to contact her directly if I ever did have any questions, but she was texting one of her clients who was waiting outside as I was in the room. Really unprofessional and so disappointing. Taking advantage of people is pretty low. Especially knowing my history. I'll probably never do this type of thing ever again because of my experience here. This has really scarred me from places like this. Back to the dermatologist I go.
