My hubby and I come to Skin Day Spa every 6 weeks for a massage. Skin offers a great discount for booking again after your last visit. The girls up front are always friendly and very helpful. Love the red light sauna that is available to you before and after your massage. The therapist we use are Barbara and April. I have had appointments with them both and both are fantastic. They do an excellent job with therapeutical massage. If you are coming to get a foo foo massage Barbara is not it. She will massage every single knot out of you. Does it hurt? Wil you cry...maybe :) Will you feel sooooo much better. YES! April will also go after those trigger points and focus on what is causing you pain, she is more gentle. I highly recommend adding on the hot stones to your massage, they can get in so much deeper the stones. Absolutely recommend! read more

My best friend and myself went here to have a girls day and at first it was great, then the massage came, as a service provider myself I expected a certain level of service considering the amount of money we were spending here. Nevertheless I paid and tipped the masseuse. The massage was below average at best and felt rushed and honestly just not comfortable. I was hoping that it would get better but it didn't. I have to say that I'm deeply disappointed and very frustrated. I booked a 60 minute massage with a male therapist. I explained the areas needed to work on with medium to deep pressure. He was doing more trigger point therapy and at one point what I thought was Reike as I was feeling minimal pressure. I even mentioned that I was a bit thrown off with the technique as I've never had a massage like this. Worst yet, Tori the owner offered 20% off of a future massage for compensation. I've been getting sugared for years. I made an appointment after finding this spa online. Tried to explain my skin issues to Rose. Not sure she was in a state to comprehend. She insisted she's been sugaring for years, however, I was shocked at her lack of ability. Pulled in the wrong direction, ripped my skin, and although I did not book a "speed" sugar because of my fragile skin, she was done in under 5 minutes. I left with sugar all over me, bleeding and hair still attached to the sugar she left behind. I won't go back and I do not recommend. I tried to ask, but she was so "speedy" There was no opportunity. -10/10 Also, I hate leaving negative reviews. read more

Started out with David for a massage - absolutely wonderful, Elizabeth with a body scrub - again, wonderful - she explained everything she was doing and why she was doing it. My skin was like butter for 2 days! Finally, Jeannie for a facial - my skin also glowed for 2 days! I have never had a more thorough and relaxing facial. They've definitely earned my business. Eh, wasn't the best massage but wasn't the worst. I won't be scheduling another appointment here though. There are other places with better massages for the same price. It also bugs me that at this time they won't offer tipping. Usually that's because the company doesn't want to take the hit of banks charging a percentage. Not sure if this is the reason but, everyone I know, doesn't carry cash. So I either have to make a second trip there or therapist doesn't get the tip they earned. Even if the massage was great. You get to put all your things in a free locker, change into a luxurious robe, clean slippers and enjoy the complimentary infrared sauna and refreshments while having a warm neck wrap on! I have tried different massage therapists and estheticians and have always left very well cared for, refreshed and happy! I've been here several times, but my last appointment wasn't great. It was really unusual. Usually, they explain things to you very well, but that didn't happen this time. Part of my session included a steam shower session, which was nice, but the girl did not notify me when my time was up. I was enjoying my spa, not really thinking about the time (it's not like I had a clock or timer), and eventually she knocked and told me I had gone over and she could only spend so much time with me. I apologized, but could tell she was annoyed. I felt like a nuisance, and it stressed me out. The whole appointment just felt disorganized for some reason, and it wasn't as accommodating as it's been in the past. Also, and more importantly, the staff spoke very loudly and profanely in the back room. You could actually hear them talking trash about clients! There were other people in the waiting room with me, and everyone was very uncomfortable. I don't think I'll be coming back for a while. I would recommend Skin Day Spa for any treatment or massage. I've now been there twice and saw Jenny both times. Jenny is professional, asks questions before getting started so I could have exactly what I wanted, and used the perfect amount of pressure and oils. My first visit, I had a 30 minute massage with add ons and the second visit, I had a 60 minute relaxation massage. Both were absolutely fantastic! I left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and ready to take on the day! When you walk in, you get checked in at the front desk and they walk you to a small locker room where you can put your things and grab a comfy oversized robe and slippers. Then they have a seat for you in the waiting area with a small snack and glass of cold water. You can sit and relax there or go into the sauna and wait for your masseuse. Your masseuse will come and get you when your room is ready and have you lay on the heated table. Afterwards, you are able to go back in the sauna to continue relaxing or you can check out at the front desk. Everyone here is friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!! read more

So I've been here 3 times so far for the LED treatment to attempt to get rid of some minor stretch marks (yay for kids lol) I was a bit nervous coming in because I wasn't sure what to expect and those nerves quickly faded! The lovely ladies up front make you feel crazy welcome the moment you want through the door! So friendly so inviting I instantly felt relaxed! So far I have only come for the LED treatment (which was fast easy and painless) but I will definitely be back for more! They have a lot to offer and all for decent prices! My husband and I went for a couples massage around Valentine's day. When we walked in we were showed to our lockers to put on our robes. Then the friendly staff brought out some delicious hot tea and cucumber water before our massages. The massage felt great, one of the best I've had and I've been to many spas. After our treatment they had chocolate strawberries and marshmallows with champagne. It was such an relaxing and romantic layout. Then we later sat in the sauna room for awhile which was a nice touch for the spa. My husband and I were so relaxed we couldn't move. They use an all natural product line from Hungary that left me with glowing skin. I had Amanda and she targeted my dryness while adding in anti-aging. Made an appointment to get my makeup done for a wedding. The staff was very friendly while taking note of everything I wanted done, over the phone. I had a massage by Mariah. I go to a lot of spas and have been getting massages my whole life It was the best massage I have ever had in my entire life and the best spa I have ever been to. The environment is very relaxing and clean and well worth your money. My therapist had perfect pressure not to deep and not to light. She was able to tell what my body needed and informed me if I would like to go deeper next time she would be more then happy to. I feel a lot better even after two weeks.
