I took my 17 yr old granddaughter there yesterday for massages. It was at 3pm. We were the only ones there. It was quiet n peaceful. The language barrier is a bit of a problem, but you must speak up if it is too strong or you want it stronger. But the 2 men working on us knew what they were doing. We both enjoyed it. Wear something you don't mind getting a bit oily n which is easy to move up or down. You have a choice of how much time is spent on various parts of your body. I did try the hot rocks which were very hot, but I did get used to them. I prob won't do that again. It was $10 extra. Luckily, the cranky old man wasn't there, so I didn't have to argue about the tip, but I was generous. We will go again. read more

I was a little worried about coming back here because of a few of the recent reviews. I too have been coming here for years. It used to be ridiculously cheap. Now it's reasonable. I agree a minimum mandatory tip is odd (except for large parties at restaurants) but so is tipping on a pick up food service. This is a service, in the US, tipping is normal. The sign is up because some people don't tip and not because they weren't satisfied, they just don't feel it necessary. These service people rely on tips and they work hard. They have one full body massage service. They don't really deviate. Because of a language barrier, it's on the customer to speak up and tell their person what kind of pressure they would like. They could use a little updating and the man who runs the place doesn't have the friendliest face, but he is really nice. Overall, I always feel better when I leave there! You really can't go many places and get a massage service as good as they provide for what they charge. read more

Came here for ladies night out. We booked our reservations via telephone about a week prior to going for our 60 minute massages. The massage that we elected included back and head combo for $35. It was a very comprehensive massage and a good deal for the price. This massage location is in a shopping Center.This shop is next door to a waxing studio in case you need that also. We got our massages in a group room. There isn't no privacy if that's something you're looking for. The tables were clean and comfortable everything worked like a well oil machine. They give you the option to take off your shirt if you would like and they cover you with a towel for privacy. I did this so that they could use oils on my back and they were really good about wiping those oils down also. That being said wear a comfortable bra and easy to pull up pants so that you don't struggle getting ready for your massage. The massage was very thorough, I really enjoyed the lower back portion felt that I got a really good adjustment. My service provider was really friendly and everything went very smooth. I also got much needed head massage and that felt great. I would say the only downside was maybe a small language barrier and so I really didn't know what to expect when getting every element of the massage. I would definitely come back here to unwind and relax experience. I also just think it's nice to get a full massage every once in a while to loosen up those body parts. I've been to this place about 20 times over several years. It's gone so downhill! The front desk manager is awful and rude and his employees are scared of him. I tried to tip them several times and they're not allowed to accept. Then he imposes a "mandatory minimum tip of $10" at the desk. Their prices have more than doubled. But the worst part is that I don't think the people who are doing the massaging are trained. This last time I went (4 days ago) was so awful. This man messed my back up so bad. He went in with elbows and pressed down on my spine so hard going both up and down and side to side and I'm still in tremendous pain. Not "massage pain" but "my back is wrecked" pain. I'm never going back. One more small note- they used to be busy all the time and this time there was hardly anyone in there, so obviously people learned quicker than I did. Spend the money and get a trained massage therapist. These people don't even speak to you before your massage to see if there are any areas of concern or areas they need to avoid. Before you go, you need to know a few things: the masseuses can be a bit too firm at times so please do not hesitate to speak up. The environment can be a bit noisy due to the sounds from the back and the phone ringing. But most importantly, do not let the front desk guy force you into tipping higher. I loved my massage here! I've been to foot reflexology places before so I knew what to expect. Do not come here expecting the tradditional Swedish massage spa experience. You wear your clothes do wear loose fitting comfortable clothes! I felt like my therapist used a lot of pressure but it left me feeling great afterward! Establishment was recommend by a friend. Because of the pandemic, it took awhile for my husband& myself to try them out. Completely exceeded our expectations. Money's been tight, so we were looking for a less expensive massage. We were not disappointed. Being in an open room had us a bit nervous but privacy ended up not at all a concern. My husband has had Double hip replacement, his masseuse & thoroughly enjoyed my rub down. The foot massage was truly my favorite part. This is a great massage for the price. If you ask for deep tissue, you get deep tissue. They do have one big room where all the massages occur so if you're uncomfortable with getting a massage around strangers, then this might not be for you. Otherwise everything is great. The ambiance is nice. The massage is whatever you want it to be. Honestly, $30 isn't that much for an hour massage so I always tip well to compensate the masseuse for their time. I had no idea what to think about this place, but I was getting my nails done and had a really bad day-- I asked the lady about Nine Dragons and she said she'd heard mixed reviews. All I knew was that it was 29.00 for the hour. I didn't believe her. Then she said it's not private, but I didn't care. You keep all of your clothes on, just FYI. So, the lady who greeted me did not know English at all it seemed, and since I'd never been there I didn't even know what to do. She said, "Please sit". I was taken then into a big room, and it's not private, but lighting is low, it's quiet with soft music, and you have your own table and masseuse. They put your feet in a container of warm water, lay you down and cover you with a towel. Your masseuse really does not talk, which was so relaxing. It's really like a full body massage. Your head, arms, hands, neck, then feet (that actually hurt quite a bit, so be prepared if your feet are sensitive, ankles, and calves, then your back (oh my gosh this is intense, I will warn you) and upper shoulders/neck again. My masseuse was Peter. He's small, but my God he was like He-Man. I am still in pain, but it's a good pain because he definitely knew what he was doing. It was the best 29.00 I have ever spent and I will be back. Ladies, it's best if you can avoid wearing a bra if at all possible since he tries to get in your shirt to get to your upper back and shoulders. Your shirt is lifted up while on your stomach as far as they can to massage your back. Also, no skinny jeans so your pants can be pulled up to your knees. I went in this morning because it was sorely needed, everything went well HOWEVER I'd like to mention a few things that could've enhanced the experience. The masseuse should take into consideration their overall well-being, I was coughed all over (front and back) during the entire duration of the massage. Others would've gotten up, I stayed, hoping the best. I decided to write the review today because I technically went back for an hour yes, but between grabbing the towel and the water etc I was somewhat slighted on time. Understandably, one has to go retrieve the towel and water but being mindful of how long each transition takes is important. Of the 60 minutes of massage her walking away 4 or more times made a significant difference time wise. Not a major deal, I just want to be fair here and know that on days when things aren't going so well I can count on a full service. And yes, I will still go back again & again. Amazingly relaxing. Very calm music in a low - lit room. Clinical feel in that you don't get personal with your masseuse. They don't talk to you; just tap or gently tug/nudge at the next part of your body to be massaged if they need you to move at all. You'll be asked to put all of your personal items and any outside layers of clothing (jacket, blazer, accessories, etc.) in a basket at the head of your massage table/bed. With a full -body massage, they start with your face and head then work down to your shoulders and arms. They cover the back, legs, hips and buttocks, and even hands, feet, fingers, and toes. You'll definitely feel great afterwards! Totally worth the money! Tips: Oil is used and it can make your hair greasy, so either bring something to fix your hair afterwards or bring a hat if you plan to go out after. If you feel uncomfortable with a certain gender giving you a full - body massage, request a preference gender of masseuse. Also, for women, wearing something like workout pants and a strapless shirt makes it easier for a full-body massage. read more

I come back today and the man at the front desk tells me that no one can serve me because I dis not leave a tip last time, and because I did not want to leave a tip tonight. I'm a college student who already doesn't have much money, so giving a tip would be using the money i need for gas. I don't think I will be returning. This was my first visit. I was a walk in and taken back to massage room immediately. The previous reviews are accurate in that it is an open room with several massages happening at once with your clothes on. The atmosphere is relaxing with dim lights and soft music. There is a stool at the head of the table where the masseuse eventually sits that opens up and that's where you put your jacket, purse, etc. (note: a smaller purse fits better) At first you are laying on your back mid table with your legs bent off the table so they can rest in a tub of hot water (Imagine sitting on your bed and then laying backwards). The water was very relaxing. This is the position you stay in while your head, face, neck, arms, feet and calves get massaged. I appreciated that they did not use an abundant amount of oil so when I left I didn't feel greasy nor did my hair look greasy. They use hot towels to wipe oil off. Their towels, bed and pillows were very comfortable. A good amount of pressure and stretching are included in the massage. When you turn over to have your back massaged, your shirt is lifted mid back so your mid and lower back gets rubbed. More pressure applied to spine area and some karate chopping on the back and legs, which feels nice. At end of massage your masseuse waits for you at the end of your bed while you gather your belongings and gives you a tiny cup of water. This is also the place and time when you would give your masseuse their tip. So come prepared w tip separate from cost if you are paying cash. Overall it was a relaxing, budget friendly massage. For me personally, I have a lot of knots in my shoulder area and did not know how to communicate that to the masseuse because of language barrier. Everyone seemed very friendly. I left feeling relaxed and glad I came. If you're in the area and looking for a relaxing massage for a good price, then I would recommend visiting. Tip for women: wear a spaghetti strapped cami with the built in bra cups (no bra) if possible. And even though it was cold out, I wore Capri work out pants so that my feet and legs were exposed more easily for water and massage. read more

I have been there about 5-6 times in the last 4 years and usually satisfied with the massage experience and the decent price., however after yesterday's experience I will NEVER go back. The man who did my massage did not look familiar to me. So he's massaging my feet very lightly and then completely stops...repeats, I look up under the wash cloth at him and he was staring off into space., he must of thought 'lady, if you want pressure, here's some pressure," and all off a sudden practically body slams my thighs with no warning. Then as I recoil in pain, he goes, too much? With an evil grin...so he runs off for a minute, I hear the toilet flush., and he's back ...it bugs me that I didn't hear the sink for any hand washing., then the back part of the massage was sorta ok, but he would put more pressure on the spine than the muscles, and it started to hurt...then he started working on a knot in my shoulder that wasn't going away and that's fine with me but the dude would not stop pummeling that spot until I told him to stop cause of the pain., then he goes back again for round 2 of the knot. I was so ready to just jump off the table but the torture session was almost over., then he returns with a scalding hot towel that he drops on my bare skin on my back and starts kneading it into my skin., I said "ouch!"and he says 'too hot?' Again with an evil grin....i powered through till the end until he literally rips the towel off my back and sez, 'all done'., I look up, lifting my head and he's sitting there and my face is 5 inches from his crotch! So I go to the desk to pay and ready to get the help out of there, and the guy looks at me and shames me in front of other customers to leave a tip on the table next to the mat!! Unbelievable! Maybe the masousses are burned out, or I just was unlucky., but whatever you do, please avoid the guy with the big round glasses, and maybe you'll be ok. My friend has always had great experiences here so I came along with her this visit for the first time. I made an appointment the day before otherwise you won't get in till "4:00" , that seems to be the magic number whenever you call for walk in. So you walk behind a curtain to massage tables lined up. It is quite and dim so relaxing in that sense. My friend and I had side by side tables, now I did not make a request for male or female - but I definitely should have! You have to take your sweater, shoes and socks off and put your belongings in a cube behind you. Leave your shirt and pants on. They fill a tub of water to soak your feet in while you lay back face up on a table. (FYI -if you have bad back pain, this position will definitely have you running to the nearest chiropractor afterwards). Myself and my friend had male masseuse. They start with your face and move along to different body parts for the hour. Now if you don't mind the smell of stale cigarettes on your masseuse's hands as he massages your face then great, albeit pretty disgusting. My masseuse spoke very little if any English which a little English would have been handy as I explained 3 times to massage SOFTER. (I am not a big person by any means, I have small bones.) I think he took it as push harder as he was literally breaking my back and bruising my body(they do each massage in repetitions of 10, but by 7 my masseuse would get angrier!!) I really wanted to get up and walk out, it hurt that bad. I was literally having panic moments many times throughout just to get through the pain. It was the longest hour of my life!!! Conclusion-I will never have another male masseuse again! I may be back to try a female as I assume they would be more gentle but definitely not any time soon as my body is battered and bruised and still trying to recuperate from this fiasco I guess that's what I get for paying $29 for an hour massage read more

Ok so this place has TOTALLY gone down hill!! The past "TWO" times (one time too many) that I have been here, SEVERAL male employees have gone to use the bathroom and NEVER washed their hands afterwards. They go straight out to their next victim and put their hands all over the person's face first thing off. I know that they haven't wash their hands because it's quite enough inside the place to hear the toilet flush and then walk out a half a second afterwards, I know you could hear the water running in the sink if you could hear the toilet flush so that's proof..pretty damn disgusting! Also the same guy has worked at the front desk for the past couple years and when they first opened he used to ask how was your massage, the last time he didn't ask but the time before he did and I told him it wasn't so great because it truly wasn't. He said to me Merry Christmas as I was leaving but mind you I was there in May of 2018.. don't act like you can't speak English when you clearly can when people call to schedule an appointment...just terrible terrible un-hygenic business..stay away. Your cloths stay on but I recommend loose clothing. While the top part of your body is being massaged , your feet are soaking in warm water. They massage every part of your body. His massage is top notch, as I've had many different hands to massage me - but Nine Dragons tops them all. The end treatment is a temperate and very warm towel, which loosens up the tight areas leaving me feeling much more relaxed and mobile than when I presented to the facility.
