Services I've had- waxing: arms, brows, legs, toes, underarms, Brazilian. Facial, brow tint, jelly masks. As far as the elephant in the room, the service itself- BAR NONE she is the best. I can walk in feeling like a bag of ass and leave feeling like a new woman. Big, small, tall, short, hairy, whatever you are, whatever you look like- you will feel comfortable. She is the most welcoming and personable person I've ever met. I can discuss hemorrhoids and Harry Potter in the same sentence, she's real, she's realistic. She doesn't care if you haven't had a pedicure since Vietnam and have your toes in her face while she's waxing your b-hole- it feels like you're with an old friend. Being from the metro Detroit area where a haircut alone costs $50, I thought wow, what a great deal, I'll get my hair done. I have very thick and heavy hair and I asked the stylist to give me some layers and just lighten things up. We decided on some highlights. The haircut looked okay at first, I was okay with it when I left. However, my layers started to look weird. They were uneven and just didn't look right. My hair was poofy. It wasn't a good look. The highlights were barely noticeable. Not worth the $50 plus tip. Like 6 months later I decide I want my hair cut. Being as this is one of the only places in town, I decide to give them another chance and just try another stylist. The girl who cut my hair was a very nice girl. I requested the same thing and my cut this time was better than the one I got the previous time but it wasn't a 'wow' haircut. The thing that really bothers me is how unprofessional some of the other stylists were. The stylists were chatting with each other the entire time. I'm sorry but if you are cutting my hair I don't really want to hear about what movie you guys are going to see later that night. I guess I'll still be driving an hour to Novi when I want to get a quality haircut and color.
