I selected this spa to have a BBL transfer thinking that they would provide a non-evasive procedure that I would be pleased with at a reasonable cost and I would also be able to return to work after a few weeks. Well, my first encounter set the tone and I should have listened to my first thought that told me not to return. But, I wanted ro give them a chI met with Dr. Vandy Gaffney for the consultation , he went over the procedure and told me the cost. At the end of the consultation, he requested I Zelle/ Cash App him the deposit of $1000 on the spot but I didn't have either so although I thought it was strange I sent it the following day through Venmo. Well, I left the office without the good doctor providing a written overview of the procedure, which I requested several times. I also asked for a receipt but that was not sent to me, however, I had my receipt from Venmo so I wasn't too worried. Why did I did go back, I don't know :( The signs were all there! The week of the procedure I went in to pick up the paperwork and pre-op instructions. The pre-op instructions read not to take aspirin or other medication 10 days prior to the procedure and went I questioned this information both Dr. Gaffney and Nathan down played it, saying it didn't matter their suppose to say that but its not going to hurt anything. Well, the day of the procedure came and all went well. After the procedure I noticed I was very swollen from head to toe for weeks. I never sat on my suppose to be mew buttocks but went in for a follow appointment 7 days later and my butt looked the same way it did when I initially went in. The doctor said, I agree with you, however, do some squats, that will help. Okay, WTF did I pay you $4500 for???? He said, " its still swollen and you wont see the results for at least 90 days. I expect to at least see noticeable changes after this procedure. I did not sit down, sleep and still have not been sitting down on my butt. I also purchased several garments to wear so I wouldn't have to keep it off long. The best advice he gave was to get a lymphatic massage. I had 3 massages since the BBL and it helped the swelling tremendously. Its been a month and the results are not good at all. Don't go to this doctor! We put our money and trust in the doctors expertise and he clearly does not have it! Oh, I failed to mention he sent a BBL pillow to my house. Thanks for the $4500 pillow!

Upon checking in the morning, I declined to fill-out their bi-annual office questionnaire. After getting called back and to my surprise Dr. Goodman himself entered may private room and asked me to complete the office's questionnaire, I politely declined, explaining that I didn't believe it was medically necessary. Rather than respecting my choice, Dr. Goodman took offense, insisting that my refusal was disrespectful to him personally. I calmly reiterated that it was simply a questionnaire I preferred not to complete. He then raised his voice, repeatedly accusing me of being disrespectful and even stating, "I can make you do anything" since it was his practice. I remained polite throughout the encounter and still declined, but his rude behavior made me extremely uncomfortable--especially given that I was about to undergo a medical procedure with another doctor and assistant present in the room. What kind of a narcissist (doctor) cares more about his office survey getting completed than how his patients are feeling prior to having skin cancer removed? Hard pass on Marcus Goodman.

At that point, Meirielly Teixeira informed me she would no longer be paying for my treatment even though the specialist was not finished repairing the damage. I tried to be fair and asked her to agree to pay for at least another year because the specialist said it would probably take about that long. SHE REFUSED! They went back on the promise that they made to me! I am deeply hurt by this! My legs are damaged and I can not afford the cost of the specialist to repair them! I had an appointment with JAIME for Dysport and filler. I had a late onset inflammatory response in…read morewhich I had to seek treatment at an Urgent Clinic and subsequently the ER. I had severe redness and burning of my face along with intense shivering, chills and low grade fever when admitted to the ER. I was 3 weeks post treatment and I had large, firm nodules on both sides of my jaws with significant bruising to left side and moderate to mild on right side. I looked like a chipmunk storing food in my cheeks. I couldn't believe what I was going through. It was the worst and I wish I had never had my filler treatment done. I've regretted it completely. I couldn't believe I had a treatment done 10 years prior with barely a bruise and very mild swelling. It was a walk in the park compared to this. My experience was repeatedly dismissed by Jaime and the office manager, Stacey as a late onset inflammatory reaction. They could not understand that my body was rejecting the filler despite my trip to the ER. They still couldn't understand it continued to happen after a round of steroids and H1/H2 antihistamines. I was having to start additional steroids and continue the H1/H2 antihistamines due to my symptoms returning. My upper arms and legs were hot and felt like they were burning along with my torso. I had to pack myself in ice to be comfortable. I was completely miserable and no one at Vitality Med Spa cared what I was experiencing after a treatment they performed. I was told I could have my filler reversed but it would be 18 more days before they could "get to me". They also informed me that when they could see me it wasn't an emergency or considered an allergic response or in their eyes even necessary so I would have to pay $300 per each vial needed to reverse my filler. Forget already paying over $2000+ for my treatments that day. Now I'm on the hook for more expenses to reverse a treatment that went awry. I was told the office manager would reach out to me but that never happened. I even asked if a specific Dr on staff could see me for the reversal sooner since Jaime couldn't but I was told he no longer worked there. I even went into the spa to have the bruises broken down with an IPL to quicken their recovery process. I hoped to see Jaime one of those days to inspect the larger nodule in my left jaw since it was still large and firm. I wasn't sure if it was something to be more concerned with like an infection as it was still swollen and warm to touch. However, when I came out of the laser tx room, I could hear Jaime talking to another staff member and refused to see me for an evaluation because she was "too busy" as she stayed hiding in a supply closet until I left the spa. I was shocked that she couldn't care less about what I was going through. I've never felt this way about Vitality in all my years I've had services done. Never thought as big as they are, with all the awards they have and as long as they have been around..they would ignore the well being of a client that was going through a situation merely due to a service/treatment that occurred under their roof. That's like having surgery and subsequently having an infection or some other medical issue and the Dr saying they did the surgery but the patient having an infection/other issue...that's on the patient and the patient has to figure it out without the Dr's help. Sorry Vitality Med Spa, you have to expect some bad with the good...not every procedure is always going to go as planned! Unfortunately, I know firsthand!!!

After 30 days of the surgery I contacted him and I thought he was going to do a touch up, but instead he charged me another $6,000.00 to fix what he had done wrong and he blamed on me for the results. My lip still the same and what I have is lumps within 1 inch from the lip. I do not recommend him.
