I have been a patient of this dermatology office for almost 20 years, if not more. Unfortunately, after trying to help my niece resolve a situation, I received a certified letter stating that I could no longer come to this doctor's office. They refused to see my niece over $36, which is a shame. Regarding the situation, Bethany, the office manager, stated that they didn't feel I would want to come back because I was so upset about the situation with my niece. I tried to give Bethany a call to inquire about the situation. I left her a message, but she did not return my call. After I reached out, I received the certified letter stating that I was no longer welcome as a patient. And, that my niece was a grown woman and she can handle her own business. I would not recommend anyone going to this office because of my treatment in this situation. No one returned my call. I had to call them after receiving this certified letter saying that I was no longer a patient there. I feel that I was treated this way because I'm an African-American woman who speaks my peace. I simply advocated for my niece to receive treatment. Since they assumed that I was an angry black woman, I will take my money, my insurance and go somewhere else that will appreciate me. I have been coming to this place for years. I am complimented on my complexion routinely. I credit them with really helping me maintain a fresh and youthful complexion. I am oily and acneic. I had tried all the prescriptions (except accurate). With a combination of microdermabrasion, peels, and great products, I kicked the acne and cleaned up the scarring. I see Rachel and Kim. Very disappointed with my experience with them. I have been coming here for years and as such, I have spent a lot of money on their services. I have always gotten chemical peels done and have experienced a variety. I met with a new esthetician and discussed what I would like to have done (hydroquinone peel with a booster-which I have done several times there). I asked her how much it would be and she did not know. She went up front to ask and they were going to charge me $200 ...I have never had to pay that much for this service before). Plus she said I had never had that peel before and said she only felt comfortable doing a PCA peel on me. I felt that she didn't even read my chart prior to my appointment. I went up front to inquire about the cost breakdown, and they were going to preform a derma plane along with my peel (I did not request this service). When I inquired about my prior visits with them for the hydroquinone peel and booster... they finally said what the price should have been. They were incredibly rude and argumentative ( not something I wanted to indulge in). I just worked 100 hrs in a week at the hospital and wanted to treat myself this afternoon... I ended leaving with tears in my eyes and no service being done because I felt so uncomfortable. I don't believe I will be back. Very unfortunate. read more

First and only time here. I had an appointment with Sarah, scheduled for 2:15. After waiting for half an hour, I was finally greeted for my appointment which she claimed was at 2:45. However, I had previously being contacted via voicemail and text message to confirm my 2:15 appointment. When I asked about the issue, to both Sarah and the girls at the desk they looked at me blankly and asked me "what I wanted them to do about it." No one could explain why this issue occurred. I really regret asking Sarah about it prior to my procedure because it would seem she took out her frustration on my face. FAB-U-LOUS ! Whoever came up with this business concept is brilliant ; a spa within a medical practice with on-hand MDs and dermatologists. I can't imagine a spa that gives more peace of mind. The range of procedures from facials to massages to microderm is fabulous and everyone I have interacted with at Skin Secrets has been nothing but incredible. They are filled with a friendly and knowledgable staff that truly cares for their clients. When you step into SS, you are taken from a hallway filled with doctor offices to a serene oasis and a cute little fountain. I loved the hand and foot paraffin treatments as well as every experience I have had there and will most definitely return. read more

I've gone here several times and the staff has always been friendly and my experience was great. The atmosphere is also relaxing. I went for the waxing services, which are a fairly moderate price, not the highest or lowest I've seen. In terms of quality though it is completely worth it. I rated it 3/4 in terms of price since cosmetic dermatology isn't cheap in general. They are clean (no double dipping) and always do a great job. In fact, one time I didn't wait long enough between waxings so a lot of hair wasn't long enough to be pulled out, so she offered to let me come back for a touch up free of charge. read more

I have been going to Skin Secrets for several years. I have seen Dr. Bark, Dr. Webb, and Dr. Music. They are always warm and friendly and so are their staff. They never push products on you like other med spas. The procedures are performed by dermatologists so you can feel very confident about their procedures. I have never had them recommend any procedure to me without me asking. You can go there and feel comfortable knowing that you are going to be treated by the best! I highly recommend! read more
