They offered for me to see Sarom who turned out to be less expensive than the one who I'd initially scheduled. Score! I must mention that even though the cut was cheaper, Ms. Sarom wasn't less than amazing. I'm jumping ahead. It's located in the Chevy Chase area, in the same strip as Starbucks. So, parking could be an issue, but I've always been able to score a spot in the lot in front when I patronize the businesses in that strip mall of sorts behind Louie's Wine Dive. When I checked in, I was pleasantly surprised to be offered warm tea, which just so happened to be fantastic and made the short wait worth the while. So, skip Starbucks before your appointment. As I sat and waited, I noticed Sarom taking her time with the client before me. It was nice to see that she wasn't rushing like other stylists in some of my other previous experiences. I didn't know that she was my scheduled stylist, so that was a welcomed surprise when she introduced herself after she finished up. This is one of the few Aveda featured salons in Lexington.
