She is great at suggesting the right products - not as an upsell, but because she really cares about your skin and personal needs. She also uses high quality products (such as Dermalogica). Amber is a kind and gentle facialist who knows her skincare. She's since moved, but her spot was welcoming and comfortable to spend an hour or so getting your skin taken care of and cleaned thoroughly. Loved that she did a great job with extractions and didn't skip taking the time here. Every step of the process was enjoyable plus she gives a very nice massage while you are sitting with the masks on. The only downside is that generally her wait is about a month when booking, this is hard since that far into the future I can't quite predict my schedule and if something comes up and you need to reschedule you are stuck waiting for her next opening. If you can deal with that logistic hurdle, which may not be an issue for you I say Amber is a great choice. read more

I came here for a facial about a week before my wedding and I'm so glad I did! Amber is truly knowledgeable, a professional, and also super nice and sweet! I felt comfortable as soon as I met her. She had me fill out a questionnaire so she can customize my facial to meet my skin needs (I have dry skin) so I really appreciated that. Compared to threading, the waxing barely even hurt; Amber was super gentle, and so pleasant to talk to! She even went so far as to suggest tips on fixing my ingrown hair/scarring issues. I finally found a great aethetician! I'm so happy with the facial I just had with Amber. She is really skilled and knowledgeable. Equally important, Amber is so sweet.
