I stumbled upon this salon with a quick Google Search of "sugaring hair removal near me." I read a couple good Google reviews and decided to give it a shot for my Brazilian. I had been burned before, literally. I started getting Brazilians for the first time ever at European Wax Center after my boyfriend mentioned it 5 months ago. Each time I left with a throbbing vagina - contemplating why I would torture myself in such a way. Each time my resentment for my bf grew at the thought of his frivolous suggestion becoming my recurring nightmare. By my third appointment I assumed that all waxing experiences were going to be excruciating. And my last time at EWC I left with stinging and irritation so painful that I vowed to never go back again. I was traumatized! Weeks later, I remembered someone mentioning to me the process of sugaring. I did some research and learned that burning hot wax isn't part of the sugaring experience. I Reluctantly and Bravely made a same day appointment for Organic Sugaring Salon yesterday. The atmosphere was calming - less clinical than EWC. I laid on the table and the waxer went to work. It was not painless, because ripping out hair never will be, but it was considerably less aggressive than getting waxed with the burning hot regular wax. Immediately after I was not regretful. My tender lady parts did not sting or feel irritated. I looked in the mirror, I touched it, and it was the smoothest to the touch than it has EVer been in my entire life! It literally feels like silk. To say I am pleasantly surprised is an understatement! I made a future appointment for 5 weeks from now. This will be my new regular spot. I don't have to harbor any ill feelings towards my bf anymore for his unsolicited thoughts on my body hair. I am so happy with the results! Lastly, a tip for anyone getting waxed, take a strong painkiller like ibuprofen beforehand. I believe it helps a little. I would share an after pic, but that might be inappropriate. read more

It was my first time here and I was nervous. I had never had a sugaring wax before and my only was I had was years ago with the "old style" of waxing. Walking in, the place had such a calm ambiance. I was immediately welcomed by Ellen who was the one helping me with my wax. I can't tell you how calm she made me feel while she explained the process. The room she led me to was spacious and really nice. The sugaring wasn't as painful as I had expected. This salon caught my eye because I was looking for a place to do my eyebrows and I just happened to get very lucky. I was able to make a same day appointment very easily online. Ellen was extremely welcoming from the moment I walked in. She is patient and kind. The salon is spotless, sunny & bright. I was very impressed by the variety of services this establishment offers. I have never used the sugar method for my eyebrows & I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent results! It was fast and efficient! I'm definitely going to come back for the eyebrow lamination service. The staff made me feel at home immediately which is extremely rare. Parking was easy but I was there in the middle of week day. I didn't get any services done because i had an appointment and Ellen txt me 5 min before my appointment saying she was going to be late 1 hour because she was with another client. I understand things happen but she could of let me know sooner not 5 minutes before my appointment. I just think that was very unprofessional. The place look nice and clean and im sure she's great at her job but she should definitely work on communicating with her clients a little better even if you're a new client you should get good service. read more
