UPS delivered the package to the wrong address and I emailed Joanna Czech asking if they could deliver another hand soap and they said because I didn't select the additional shipping charge that it was against their policy. This company charges hundreds and thousands of dollars for products and services, you think they would want to keep a customer with such a small $50 product but they do not. I also did not see the additional shipping charge feature nor did I see any notice on their site that explains this policy in a way that was easily navigated and clear to the consumer. I've filed a BBB complaint and will continue posting reviews showcasing what happens when you do not cure customer issues. I will also continue showcasing how amazing House of Preservation is as an alternative - they work very hard to respond to customers and earn your business - they're in the same space/same city - give these guys your business vs. Joanna Czech.

She excused herself to let me get into a towel wrap, which I've never had to undress for a facial, so I wasn't sure what she wanted at first, but I just made some assumptions. - once the facial starts, she doesn't ask me any questions about my skin: not what my skincare routine was what my concerns were why I was in for a facial if I had any recent exfoliation or procedures any allergies?!?! not anything - she uses a regular towel and towelettes on my face. since she is, i assume, an experienced masseuse, her pressure on my face with a rough towel is actually pretty grating; it felt very rough and hard on my skin. - she didn't walk me through any of the procedures or products. I still could not tell you what she used or what she did. - she started on extractions I believe with just her gloved nails. she used very hard pressure, which i'm used to from my own picking at my skin and I know is bad for my skin. For many people, it would've been way too hard and aggressive. I actually have cuts on my face the next day from it. If i wanted to destroy my skin from picking, I could've done it for free at home - her products are very fragranced and actually did start to irritate my skin during the facial. U mentioned the burning and she wiped my face with clean water but it did not subside much and continued after I left TLDR: very abrasive facial that left my skin dull, irritated, cut up, and worse than when I went in. would not recommend. She did provide a massage during the experience and it was very good, I would return only for massage service.

I've had 2 chemical peels so far. I told her she had a customer for life, but I wish I would have never said that. I don't lie to people, but yet I just did (maybe). I'm going to another place today for a consultation only. My hairdresser told me about this place she is using and I have been paying twice as much for my peels then I would have if I would have went to her place. Matter of fact, a lot of places. Bloom is in the middle of changing names and plan to have coupons and discounts but I don't have that kind of money to waste on waiting for that to happen. I'm just so upset that I have paid double what it normally costs at most salons. Now I know that after looking at other prices. Yes, I should have done my research.
