This was my first time having osteopathic treatment and I was easily able to accept the concept as it was explained to me before and during the treatment. I am very sensitive and often feel pain during massages, but I did not feel any pain during this treatment and I almost fell asleep. Most importantly, I was amazed at how my body moved after the treatment and the next day and the day after that. The stiffness in my neck and shoulders, which had become chronic due to past car accidents, the aftereffects of tendonitis, and physical discomfort after childbirth were resolved, and my body felt lighter. I've had 2 other laser treatments on the same areas before with a different place and never had this issue. I understand that things happen, and the area that was the worst is where she zapped me the first time and she said over and over "I'm just seeing how your skin reacts.." I think she knew then it went badly, but anyhow, I understand sometimes things happen, but not returning my phone call asking for her help because I never had this reaction before and don't know what to do or how to prevent scaring is unacceptable, period. I called her the day after the procedure and was very pleasant and said I think I had a bad reaction to the treatment, I'm burnt and swollen and can you please call me back because I don't know what to do, if I should go to my doctor or what. I wish I had just paid the cost increase at the other place I had been going to afterall. Vienna Skin Clinic in San Jose raised their price so I found this place, and I regret it now. All she had to do is return my call, but she's chosen not to for 4 days now.
